I underwent Vaser Liposuction on my inner thighs, outer thighs, lower stomach and flanks at Cosmos Clinic in Double Bay in September 2015. Approximately 3.5 litres was removed from these areas during a 2-3 hour surgery.
I could not shift the fat from these areas no matter how much I exercised, or how low my weight dropped. For me, Vaser was my only option to attain the figure I desired.
I specifically chose Cosmos Clinic for the procedure as Dr Ajaka trained under the surgeon who created the Vaser method. Dr Ajaka also regularly appears on television current affairs programs providing advice on cosmetic procedures.
Admittedly, I was in quite a bit of pain for the first couple of weeks following the surgery, however, the team at Cosmos Clinic provided excellent after care. I was very well looked after – Dr Ajaka gave me his personal mobile number and told me to call any time, I would usually receive a response to any email queries I had within 2-3 hours and the nurses were very diligent in monitoring my recovery. I also underwent several complimentary lymphatic drainage massages which helped move the fluid and ease the swelling.
Nearly four months on, I am incredibly pleased with the result. The shape of my inner thighs and stomach, in particular, has noticeably changed and, as a consequence, my body confidence has skyrocketed.
I highly recommend Cosmos Clinic. The Cosmos staff are friendly, informative and very skilled at what they do. I have been incredibly satisfied with every procedure they have performed on me thus far and will continue to use them for my cosmetic needs.

Can you please provide before and after pictures? Also, what was the pain like and how long until you went back to work? :) Thanks!

I returned to work after one week. I took a bit longer than the average person to recover.

How long does it take for you to actually feel and look like what you hoped or expected the outcome would be.
I had mine done about 6 weeks ago. Though I see some Improvement but I still look pretty much the same as before surgery

It took about 3-4 months for me. The swelling obscures the results. Some people swell more than others and different areas do too. My thighs are looking fantastic now but I originally had my doubts! :)

That's longer than I thought in the beginning. I thought prolly a month or two I'll see result. Guess I'll have to wait it out. I'm back to gyming like 100%. Except running. My butt hurts when I ran. I had my saddlebags, inner thighs and knees done btw.

Took me about four months before the weird sensation in my legs disappeared during exercise :)

Hi, I have done vaser on my abdomen and flanks since 2 months ago. There's slightly improvement on my abdomen but very little on my flanks, I hope its still swelling because when I pinched it, it still feel some pain.

How long do you see the final results for your flanks ? Did it get better comes after 3 or 4 months ?

I found my flanks to show pretty immediate results. I seemed to have much less swelling in that area. Perhaps you should get the opinion of a second surgeon just to make sure it's not excess fluid build up? I did have a lot of pain in that area but the result was evident from week 2.

Thank you. I have talked to my surgeon and he said 2 months still early and I should wait :(

Definitely do that as everyone's body is different. I experienced more swelling in my legs than flanks. Four months on, after exercise or a tiring day I find I still swell up all over.
