Raw photos of botched lip lift
These photos are just natural.
Terrible.
Permanently open, unless I consciously think about closing my mouth and purposefully do it.
Very unhappy

How long was your upper lip in the beginning?
How many mm did he remove?

Actually what I see is just a pretty woman. If I were you I would do some filler into the upper lip to get a fuller lip and hide shown gum. That definitely will make some balance to the face.

Thanks everyone...
It looked Horrible!
Braces had nothing to do with it,.. and this photo was AFTER 1mL of Juvaderm Ultra filler and Botox.
Terrible (-_-)
But i had a nose job last week and the plastic surgeon has fixed my nose and mouth !!!!!!!!
I've posted my review of my nose job on here, on my profile.

When I first read your review I was hoping it would drop into a more natural position. I am so sorry this happened to you. I want to mention there is a dental surgery that can help resolve a gummy smile. I looked into it when I had a gummy smile when I was younger. I wonder if this would help your situation. It involves cutting the gums back and the teeth follow. The results from this can be really great. You are still a very pretty girl, but I understand your concerns. Hopefully your lip will continue to continue to drop and it will with age. Your braces may be adding a little bit to your feeling of not being able to close your mouth and once those are off hopefully your mouth will be able to close a little better.

Dear Katie, I think you have an amazing smile!!!
Really, I would like to have such good results. Most reviews I read from people who have had a lip lift end up very disappointed about the minimal to no change at all from before surgery. Also, where did he put the stitches??? Because you have NO SCAR at all!
If you are still not convinced, please allow it Somme time and do massage to bring the skin down a little ( but not too much!), before considering any graft surgery or whatsoever.
Love your results.
I wish your PS was near because I would definitely go to him for having this procedure.

Just my opinion I think you look much better after the lip lift. I show much more teeth and gum naturally and am having this procedure myself. Your face looks more balanced less long. Maybe your not used to seeing yourself like this maybe give it time to settle. I find all surgery takes a good year to " settle' . Your lip is probably tight now and lips legthen with age anyway. So in a few years your lip will probably be were it was before surgery.

Hey, there, dear one! Post lip-lift, you remain totally NORMAL looking, but I sense that you do not FEEL like YOU! Go cautiously forward, as there seems to be a number of docs who advertise that they specialize in help disgruntled plastic surgery clients. I myself have an extra-long upper lip, and have thought about getting it tinkered-with. Would Botox in any way "relax" the shortened area, so that it gives you a bit less upturned top lip? Don't know. Just wishing you the best. You have plenty of company here, with persons (like me, but not around lip-stuff, just other stuff!) somewhat less-than-satisfied with their PS outcomes, trying to make the best of it all.
Life gets better, it does. Be well!

Thank you for your review. It is very helpful for those considering a lip lift. While you do look great, it was a fairly dramatic change, and I can see how that would be difficult. Please take it easy on yourself and give it some time. Decide what to do next with the clearest head possible. xx

Can you share what you did to your nose to achieve such amazing results? Was it perhaps filler or Botox?
No botox or fillers.
