Dont! Youll lose it once you get back into the swing of things. Heal first.
Love your results. Glad to see your healing is going well.
How are your thigh wou,ds now? I am just over three weeks postop and infection has been my biggest fear from the beginning. My very inner groin incisions are a whitish/yellow, but no oozing so my surgeon is not converned, but I cannot stop thinking about it!!
I'm sorry for your complications. I am considering a five lift. I have saddlebags on the outer thighs as well as extra skin on the inside of my thighs.. Did the thigh lift help contour the saddle bag area on the outside of your thighs? I can't tell from the pictures. Thank you
I've been following your progress. Just wondering how you're doing now. Have your infections healed? Wounds closed? I had a thigh lift Jan 10/17 and am finally seeing the swelling go down somewhat and my groin incision infection healed.
Hi
Thanks for following my progress!
I'm doing well, everything healed and the scars are looking awesome.
The only minor complain I have is that the scar that was well hidden in my groin has migrated about an inch down my leg.Still pretty good compare to before..☺
I will be posting new pictures this upcoming week.
How are you?Did your scars migrated as well?
These are big surgeries with some complications that can take a while to heal but in my opinion well worth it.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well! My scars didn't migrate, at least not yet. My only real complaint is that on the right leg the scar is jagged. Hopefully it will lighten up enough that it won't be seen. I also have a lot of numbness on my left leg around my knee. Were you left with any numbness?
Hello! Can you both give us updates photoss....? Best wishes for your revovery
I had a thigh lift in December and wondered about the swelling because I still, feel swollen, so good to know.

Hi Carolyn
I'm sure you're in touch with your surgeon and following orders. I hope you're able to rest so you can heal. I wish you good health in 2017.

I had a thigh lift as well, but the medial thigh lift and ive had the same problems. He restitched and it seems to be working out, but i totally feel your discomfort. Sleeping, sittling, and walking suck. And the swelling is terrible.
Thank you so much for reaching out to me!!I feel like nobody understands what I'm going through..I had a lower body lift 6 months ago and this one has been tougher.I see so many parts of my right thigh open,3 wounds and I'm 3 hours away from my doctor's office.
The swelling is terrible,I can't close my legs, walking like a duck and no underwear..
Sorry about the rant...

I totally understand how bad it is. Had i just had the belt lipectomy, id be doing awesome right now, but noooo, i was convinced it would be ok. Right now im just laying on the sofa on my side because its the most comfortable for me right now. Im still walking around like a duck too. Some days its bearable and others its so terrible i want to cry. I dont even like to look to see if i have any more openings, because they freak me out. Ive been keeping the wounds clean and not doing much but i seem to still keep getting openings here and there. As far as the swelling, it has not really gotten better. They said to keep my feet elevated higher than normal, but its so uncomfortable. Ugh. itll get better, we just need to remember that. What does your dr say??
Ohh wow,i wasn't given that option, just to let it heal from the inside out..I think I won't need revision for those openings,so far it is getting smaller and healing fine, only time will tell.
How are you doing?

My doctor is out of town.I keep contact with the nurses weekly and send them pictures to keep them updated on the healing process.

And to make things worse i gained some weight during the holidays...can't work out for now ...

Oh i feel you, i gained too. I had an arm lift about 2 years ago. I was in my compression garment for about 8 weeks. It was uncomfortable. The results were worth it! I went today for a check up, he said everything looked good. I have a small gap in an area he stitched, but he says it wont open up anymore. I dont go back for a check up for 2 weeks now. The only thing now is to heal completely. I went back to work monday, and i didnt feel menatlly ready. Idk, i hate the discomfort. It frustrates me. Im glad your incisions are healing! Do you sleep with your compression garment? I do. But i switched to a spanx. It helps with the swelling.
Good to know you are better!Take care of yourself, pretty soon
all of this will pass .
I started wearing spanx 2 weeks ago, before that only gauze to cover the wounds..Pretty weird I think but that is what I was told to do.
Did the swelling in your arms took a long time to resolve??
i can't stand the compression garment for my arms..
Sometimes i take it off for days..i know I'm not suppost to but I just can't sleep wearing it.
I will be posting new pics of the wounds tomorrow.
Take care of yourself !☺

Yea the swelling took a few months to go completely down. I slept with the garment, but it was so uncomfortable. They told me it helped with the swelling and the scar not widening and stuff. But i know it sucks wearing it! Lol
Thank you so much!!☺
