36yrs,mother of 2 - Bristol, VA

Hello! I am 36yrs of age I am 5'6 and I weigh 137lbs. My breast size is A 36b.I have always wanted to get boobs but I never really checked into it.I always thought that they were very expensive and only people with lots of money could afford them. Now that I'm getting older and my kids are good size with plenty of me time I decided I wanted to get implants so I got everything taken care of I'm just waiting on my surgery Feb,6th 2014.I am very excited about getting boobs for myself and I'm not worried about the surgery however I do dread recovery. I am getting 500cc saline implants under the muscle. I have 5 days left until I get those beauties, it seems like it is taking forever to get here. I will update soon.

Well....... I had my surgery 2/6/2014 everything went well. My first night and the next day was my worse. I was so sore I could barely wipe my own butt. My Husband was great,he took great care of me for 3 days. I am healing well but it is A very slow process. I have been kinda miserable the past 3 days,my boobs feel like they have been rubbed raw at times on the sides and they get very irritated to the point I can barely stand for clothing to touch them and I do have to undress at times.I My Doc says this is normal. I just wonder if you other ladies went through this as well and if so how long did it last until you felt better from it? As far as being happy with my boobs I'm getting happier by the days. I got 500cc and they are looking nice.

Well..... Its 2 months later and I can't say that I am happy not as of yet anyways. The first 2 days after surgery were rough.The next 2 weeks after surgery were going great, I was going on 3 weeks and I got really sensitive I couldn't stand to wear clothing or for anything to touch me, at 2 months later I am still some sensitive,sore and sharp pain off and on. My boobs haven't dropped completely and my Dr. says that I now have about 6 more months of recovery :( My Dr. also said that if my boob on the right hadn't dropped in 6 more months that he would go back in and make little pricks to release it, I'm guessing he overfilled my implant. I'm not happy with the size as of yet. They aren't much difference in my before and after photos at this time. My Dr. says they will appear bigger as they drop and if I'm not happy with the way they appear that he will go back in and move something to bring them out more. With all this being said I would not recommend BA to just anyone you really really would want to have this surgery and still I don't know if Its worth it or not. I will wait it out and see the end results before I make up my mind on the worth it part. I spent over $6,000 and I can tell you that it is definitely not worth that amount. I honestly know and feel that I didn't know everything that I would need to expect or experience before I had my BA.I was only made aware of the most common symptons. I wish I had of known everything from the start because I would not have had the surgery. I am praying that when its all said and done that I get what I wanted without anymore expense and that I can say that it was worth it. Sorry I'm not A happy lady as most who have posted but hopefully that will change. I had 420cc in my left and 480 in my right and I get on here and look at photos similar with me and my implant size and everyone looks pretty good and great size from their before pics and I'm not.I just don't understand why. I will wait this out and I will give you all an update.Thanks for reading and understanding.
