In 2012 I was in a severe fire accident and sustained 14% burns which were 2nd and 3rd degree. I was in hospital for 30 days and got 5 skin grafts.

Pulse dye lasee treatment changed my life my significantly improving the colour of my burns from a deep purple and red to a white/skin colour/slightly darker colour

Hi eva, yes! Hair grows on mt second degree areas. 3rd degree had skin grafts.. some of the akin grafts grow hair. Left leg skin graft grows a lot of hairs. My right leg top, bottom one only grows around thw graft. No hairs grow behind my right leg, knee area with 2 grafts. And the graft on my upper right thigh grows hairs :) Its depends in the depth of the burn and he donor site skin.

What's your depth of your burns?
1 year is still short. If you keep it away from sun that's very important for reducing colour.

Pulse due is mostly for pigmentation and slight surface.... fraxel laser is best for raised surfaces of skin and texture. Pulse will do a little .

For me personally, pulse dye improved colour and a small amount of texture
Fraxel laser improved the texture greatly for me.
Hey I'm burnt on my arm and chest and breasts my scars on my breasts still redness I have to wear garment and long sleeve all the time and how long till you can get laser treatment on your burn ?now my burn is about 1 year 4 months some are turn white but only on my breasts is still redness and raise and developed to hypertrophic scars.
