Cosmelan not recommended - made my hyperpigmentation worse

I did the first part of Cosmelan treatment in March and continue with follow up procedure cosmelan 2, brightening foam and SPF 50 until October. I did this protocol for 8 months. For the first 2-3 months my skin was bright and my melasma was less visible - the most visible peaches were still there, but at least less visible. After approximately 3 months melasma reappeared again, much worse than before, speeded all over my forehead and it's visible then ever before.
My longtime practitioner with an extensive experience said that several other patients were not satisfied with resultants after cosmenal treatment. I would never recommend Cosmelan treatment and I personally regret doing it.
