I've had difficult melasma for a long time. I have treated with Retin A, chemical peels and hydroquinone. I heard about the Cosmelan and decided to go for it. Luckily and have a great relationship with my esthetician and she happens to work at the best plastic surgery practice in my area. I'm 1 week in and already happy. I'm leaving the house without make up for the first time ever. I am still a little red. I had selling the first 5-6 days and that has calmed down. More to come....

I just had my cosmelan peel last week, 9 days today.i reacted so badly,my face was swollen,itchy,red and had a lot of smelly liquid all over my face,I was told to use cosmelan 2 after 5 days,I couldn't use it because my face was burnt,then on the 7th day I used cosmelan 2,my face was so itchy, swollen and very red again.i think the treatment is not for me.whoever is going to have this treatment, ask questions, the products are too harsh for me. I'm not continuing with the treatment I have melasma all over.make.there are too nany acids in the products.do your research and watch you tube videos, the treatment is brutal its not a walk in the park.
