So happy I chose Dr. G! Right now I am almost a month post op. All my bruising is gone. The swelling has a few more months to go but I think I'm the only one who can notice it.

Hope your recovery is going well! Would love to hear more about the process with Dr Ghersi and how you discussed your expectations. I am thinking of getting a rhino with this doctor and from what I can tell our original noses are v similar.
How is everything going? CAn u post pics? Are u 100% happy with the doc u chose? WHy did u choose him? So nervous about choosing the right doc for my nose surgery.

Tips for recovery blues
Waiting for swelling to go down & for your nose/face to regain its normal appearance can be a real bummer (as I'm starting to realize)!
It's especially daunting now that I'm home & beginning to return to work or public places. Although my result is fantastic, I still look "different" and my face is very full looking from swelling. It's almost exhausting explaining "it won't stay like this, it's just swollen" to people who ask.
Even though you KNOW the swelling goes down and at 1 week post, this is not your final result, it's still discouraging! So I wanted to share this awesome post from a surgeon who explains the importance of patience after a rhinoplasty.
It helped me stop worrying so much :)

Hi, did you have this much swelling a month PO?
Hello, the best thing to advise you is to get the Arnica at the GNC for your future surgeries. It helps really well with making the brusing go down way faster.
