Great Results and Great Doctor!

My experience with Dr. Bustillo was nothing short of fantastic. I decided to get a revision rhinoplasty 6 years after my first rhinoplasty (done by a different doctor) because I still had trouble breathing, and was left with an awkward cartilage bump on the bridge of my nose. I was extremely apprehensive of going through with a revision rhinoplasty, since I had a difficult recovery and unsatisfying results from my first surgery. After considering other doctors, Dr. Bustillo came highly recommended from other doctors in the South Florida area. After my consultation, I knew I wanted to use Dr. Bustillo because he only does facial surgeries, and he has done many revision rhinoplasties. Dr. Bustillo is extremely kind and calming, and he went over in detail exactly what he would do during surgery. He answered every question I had (which was a lot!), and he provides you with a revision rhinoplasty manual, which answers any question you could think of, which I thought was super helpful. His staff is great also; they were extremely accommodating when I thought I needed to reschedule my procedure. As for the procedure itself, I didn't experience much pain, and had very minimal bruising and swelling. I had an open rhinoplasty, where my septum was fixed, the bump was shaved, and I had cartilage from my ear harvested for spreader grafts and a tip graft (my tip was previously droopy). Dr. Bustillo calls you the night before your surgery and the night after, and asked me if I had any questions. I really appreciated that. I'm currently three weeks post op and could not be happier with my results; Dr. Bustillo gave me the nose I've always wanted. It fits my face perfectly and naturally, and I can't wait to see the results as the swelling goes down. I would highly recommend him, especially if you are considering getting a revision rhinoplasty.
