I had a very professional experience with Dr. Bustillo during my neck lift pre and post-surgery visits. He is an excellent surgeon and explained the benefits of the surgery and its limitation. Limitation of course is the quality of the skin, which is not addressed by this surgery. What does get address is an overall neckline that is youthful looking in its form. Improving the neckline compliments the facial look for a youthful relaxed appearance. My procedure went well and after surgery I had very little discomfort which I took care of it with extra strength Tylenol. I also took antibiotics the first week after surgery and applied ointment around the incision areas around the ear. My main purpose for this surgery was turning back the clock on my appearance since at age 60 the neck starts to loosen up with lower elasticity. I wanted to avoid letting my neck go during 60 to 70 years old and getting a turkey neck, therefore I wanted to get this procedure done and will do it again when it comes time with Dr. Bustillo who has excellent hands for facial surgery.

For me it has been now close to two month and the only thing remaining is slight numbness around the ears but this has been improving by day so hopefully within the first 3 month 95 percent of the procedure is recovered with effects from numbness which is not much. The staff at Dr. Bustillo is very professional and I have had four visits in total during the two month period post-surgery of which the first two were to remove post-surgery protection and stiches. I am very happy with my results from the surgery and understand that the total benefits of this surgery are seen at a three to six month period post-surgery. I definitely would go through this again at a later date to maintain a youthful facial look in the future when I older and understand that taking care of one’s health is very important prior to going through this procedure. At that point I would 100% get this procedure done with Dr. Bustillo.
