Hello. I find that people who normally "need" tummy tucks the most are usually ones who use to be morbidly obese and have extra loose stretched skin that cannot be reversed and for mothers who has loose excess skin from childbearing. In your case, and judging from the photos - I would definitely do a tummy tuck as a last resort. In my opinion, you can get tighter and flatter with eating right and exercise. You have a great build and I would do something that is long lasting (exercise and food) than a quick fix. The tummy tuck will only target one area - what about your chest and overall physique? I would really consider it one last time.

I am scheduled to have a tummy tuck (or mini tummy tuck) on May 19 at Coral Gables Cosmetic Center in Miami Florida with Dr Friedman. They told me that they will inform me of the correct procedure that they will do after physically examining me. I am a Registered Nurse so I am pretty knowledgable about what is going to happen to me. I guess at this point I am trying to see if anyone has any advice for me or if anyone has dealt with Coral Gables Cosmetic Center in the past. I am really excited to get this done, please give me any input you may have. Thanks

I am having my MM, April 17th with Dr Krau at CG cosmetics, I have never been there and have done everything over the phone though my coordinator , Yadira and she has been wonderful, she answers all of my questions and have never felt pressure into doing anything I don't want to. I know the place has many daily surgeries, and they are very busy, but I gather this from what I have read. My experience the doctors are great and Yadira who has been their face and voice has been excellent. I will follow your journey it is a great experience isn't it ? To be able to do something for yourself and the expectation of a better version of yourself, congratulations.

Hi there! My mommy makeover (full TT and BL w/implants) is scheduled for March 19th - 8 days away!! I've researched Dr. F. a lot. He isn't the warmest guy, but he is honest and straight-forward. He will tell you what will and will NOT work for your body and make sure you have the right expectations. I love him. His scars are amazing. He has several patients on here that you can see the TT scars. Wishing you an awesome surgery and recovery and let me know if I can help with any questions. This is my 2nd TT. My first one was over 10 years ago (different doctor) and my baby cause my muscles to snap, so I'm doing another TT.

It's always best because you lose visceral fat too. That's the layer fat under the muscle that they can't lipo out. But in my case, I get so nervous and I've gained like 5 pounds waiting for this surgery. Don't let it stop you, but yes, it's better if you do. BTW - in my case (and I think a lot of other people too), I lose weight after the surgery. Seeing yourself like that gives you the confidence and desire to eat better and work out. You'll see.
I go on May 21st, scared and excited as the same time! Plz post your pic's!
