Don't let the staff at spectrum deter you from their great doctors and medical assistants. Dr. Ghurani is a great doctor who answered all of my questions and showed genuine concern for his patients. I am experiencing numbness in one side but that should be normal. I am glad he convinced me not to go bigger because I would have looked entirely awkward. This is something o really wanted to do but a couple days after surgery you start to feel like "was this worth the pain"? Even though I walked out of surgery and seemed like I had a regular day, and despite what some blogs will say, this is painful. I am a week post op and I taking OTC meds currently but it is hard to sleep. The incisions hurt the nerve regenerating hurts. I highly recommend taking off two- three weeks and really relaxing. I highly recommend ice packs and heat, a recliner, lots of protein and patience.
