Five Weeks After Surgery

WORTH IT$4,980
I just wrote this long, thoughtful post. I accidentally refreshed the page and it disappeared. So here goes everything I could remember that I included in the original post... I'm very happy with my breasts. They are shaping up quite nicely. Thank you, Dr. Roudner! I just amazes me how he could mold my breasts into a beautiful shape and envision how they would transform into their shape months from now. I tried on my old bathing suits and the tops were a little big. Considering that in an extra large bathing suit top my breasts used to spill out the sides and were all smushed into the bathing suit top. Every step I took, I was scared that my areola would pop out. Also, the bikini top straps used to leave painful indentations on the back of my neck. Now the bathing suit actually covers my breasts and there is no pain in the back of my neck. I also tried on strappy dresses that I bought at one time but was never bold enough to wear because my breasts made it look too risque. Those strappy dresses look fabulous on me now! My mom gave me camisoles for my birthday since I can't wear bras. And my dad gave me a small purse since I was advised not to carry a heavy purse. I have minimal scarring if anything at all. So I'm anticipating when I can start using Mederma. My next appoinment is September 10th. I havent been able to keep my stress and anxiety levels down. I took off two weeks from work and when I got back to work corporate announced that we would be closing at the end of the week. Luckily I found another job right away. But its still stressful starting at a new company. I tortured myself by looking at all the blogs of people who had breast reductions gone wrong. I would not advise anyone to do that. I got very paranoid and would look at my breasts at least six times during the day. Also, they've been nicely settling into shape. They are no longer hard but have softened and even jiggle now. Also, contrary to popular belief, I feel sexy with smaller breasts. I did not feel sexy at all with large breasts. In fact, I could say with large breasts I felt matronly. Okay, so this is a synopsis of what I wrote before. I did my best to try and recall everything I wrote about.

"Also, contrary to popular belief, I feel sexy with smaller breasts"

I like that ;-) Any updates
What was your breast size after swelling and healing was finished? I am scheduled for July 14th. I wish it was tomorrow.
Thank you for posting. This was very helpful. You look awesome after your surgery. I was just wondering because I have the same breath as you did before you got them down, did you just get a lift or did you also get implants?

Bandages Removed

Today the bandages were removed and I got to see my new breasts. I absolutely love them! It takes a few weeks for the swelling to disappear and a few months before the final shape is achieve. But I can already see now how beautiful they're going to be when they officially heal...

Surgery Complete!

It took me two days to prepare for the surgery: groceries, cleaning, laundry, filling my cat's food dispenser, putting food and utensils at waist level, putting toiletries at waist level, putting clothes at waist level, setting up my nightstand with lotion, remote controls, tablet, tissues, etc. On the day of the surgery, first, I was led to a private room where I changed into my surgery garments. I waited in the room while watching Days of Our Lives. Then I was led to a dim room with a bed and curtains around the bed. The nurse told me that I was next. I met the anesthesiologist and he placed an IV in my hand. Then Dr. Roudner arrived and made markings on my breasts and chest. I was led to the operating room and laid down on the operating bed. They wrapped my arms and legs up like a burrito and I had these things on that were massaging my legs. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in the recovery room and its time for me to go. The nurse gave me a purple rose and wheeled me to the floor with the parking garage entrance. My mom pulled up the car and they helped me get into the car. The hour and a half ride wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We picked up the antiobiotic from the pharmacy. I'm using Tylenol Extra Strength and Tylenol Extra Strength PM for painkillers. And I feel great! And I'm very comfortable and happy. Everything has gone better than planned. Thanks to Dr. Roudner and the whole team! And, I cant wait until the bandages come off so I can see the results!
