How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I've included some pre-op pictures in this post....

I've included some pre-op pictures in this post. It's been really helpful to look at others' surgery journeys. Especially women whose bodies look like mine. Shoutout to bree71815. She did an awesome job documenting every part of her journey and inspired me to post about my own. Thanks and enjoy!
credit to bree71815: https://www.realself.com/revie...I've wanted to get BA for as long as I can remember. I grew up under the California sun and I was a swimmer/water polo player for most of the first 18 years of my life. It took a very long time and several bouts of disordered eating, but I finally grew to accept my body the way it is. Part of me is still nervous that I am going to lose that natural self-confidence that I've worked so hard to achieve. But after researching and reading the reviews of others here on RealSelf, I'm 10% scared I'm making the wrong choice, 90% sure of what I'm doing, and 100% sure that I'm going to love the results. I started dating my current boyfriend about a year ago (Spring 2016) and I casually brought up the idea to him several months ago. He seemed to be okay with it. I contacted Coral Gables Cosmetics in Miami, Florida and went through the initial forms and pictures. I found out I was a good candidate, but didn't move any further in the process. I didn't know when I would be in Miami to do the surgery.A few weeks ago, I booked us a trip to Miami for the beginning of June 2017. (We're both teachers and are in desperate need of a beach vacation). Then, I remembered about my paperwork with Coral Gables. I got back in touch with Catherine, a super nice, patient surgery scheduler. We worked through putting down the initial deposit on Friday, May 5, 2017. Because I tried to pay with a credit card, the purchase was flagged as fraud, but Catherine has been so helpful and patient. I'm planning to pay the balance on Monday, June 8, 2017, so I can get the $500 discount for paying early. I'm a little bummed that I won't be able to be on the beach for the entire week my BF and I are going to be in Miami, but I'm really excited that I've saved up all the money I need to pay for the surgery out-of-pocket. I'm even more excited that in less than a month, I'll have the boobs I've always dreamed of! I literally cannot wait to go bra shopping! I've never been able to buy cute bras because my boobs are so small! I'll definitely be sad that they're gone, but not enough to call it off! I'm ready!

Catherine- She has been a super surgery coordinator. She has really helped me to make sure that I'm doing everything I need to do before surgery. Dr. Jacob Frieman- Nothing yet!
