Question about fillers

Hello ladies, when after a FL can you have Restaylane tear through? What do your doctors say?

Hi, hope you are doing well. I would think that you should wait until the six month mark before having fillers, you may not need them. Of course, this is a question for your PS. I'm at three month post op and still have face swelling, now that the weather has gotten warm and humid I have noticed it more. I believe the six month time line is also for revision surgery so I'm thinking it is best to wait while your face is still "settling". Good luck, you sound very happy
Hello lady! Good to hear from you!!! Doing good? My Ps said the same thing. 6 months beteen surgerys. Are you back to ordinary rutines?! I feel good but still no feeling on my sides. It dors not really bother me though;)
Hi, I'm doing well, sassy as ever. Next week will be three months post op. I still have occasional bouts of swelling and the twinges of healing nerve endings. We've had a few warm, humid days and I noticed my face gets puffy in the humidity. Sides of face getting more and more feeling, but still have that krinkle feeling. Eyes look fantastic. No jowls, no double chin I'm happy. Neck can still be stiff but better that than loose and wobbly. I've been doing a lot of walking and am seeing a personal trainer again to get this body back into shape after laying around for so long. Everything is great, I'm thrilled. Have a great weekend.
I think I got the go ahead at the 6 week mark but I've held off as I'm going to do another fat graft. How are you doing?
Hi Sminky! I'm doing good!! And you? I spoke to my PS yesterday he said that Restaylane under eyes is risky ( bump risks) and he said that no lower bleph can be done with restylane until it is totally gone. I think I will wait and do the real thing ( surgery around Christmas) and not use fillers. How was the fat injection? Sminky, you live in Calif. can you keep out of the sun?

Week 7

All good! The last crust fell off this morning. The scars at the temples are red and big but now I can try to cover with make up. I went to the dentist yesterday. I have som problems with inflammation but I think it has been difficult to open my mouth wide so I have just been a little bit careless with toothcleaning. Well, it went ok yesterday so I will do better;-) i'm still a bit swollen and I have no feeling on the sides of my face. However, I'm satisfied with the result. It is discrete but I see it. It will make me look better for 10 years:-) I want to do a lower bleph later this year maybe around Christmas. Or is that too early?

Go for it! Why not have a year of renovations that will make you feel good?
If you have a Water Pik I found that was a good tool to clean teeth when I couldn't get my mouth open wide enought to floss correctly. Glad to hear that you are happy with your results and I agree get your eyes done. 2015 the year of change.
Hello lady! I hooe you are great. Btw my dry skin is now gone. Wonderful because now my make up is not 'flaky' anymore'
Good for you Nacklyft, glad you're happy with your result - would you be comfortable private messaging any photos, I understand if not. I'm going to ask to get my lower eyelids done soon (seeing PS on Saturday) but don't know whether filler or bleph or where to get it done - I have hollows rather than bags. All the best - Jude
Be very careful if you only have hollows and not bags. There are more people on here having problems recuperating from bottoms blephs. Look up Ectropion eyes. Mine took 3 months to come up and they are still not quite right.
read this girls issues - Swallow_Tattoo Make sure your PS knows what they are doing with eyes!
Good point! I will be careful because I know that fat injections can be a brtter alternative. I dont't really have bags more dark rings..
I might have hollows too .. I don't know the best alternative. I did try restaylane tear through oncebut I could not really see a change. Have you tried it?
Hi gingermegs, thank you for the warning - I'm really sorry you've had problems with lower bleph, there does seem to be an increasing number. Yes I have followed Swallow's experience and saw your advice about taping, it sounds like it works well. I did post to Swallow about Mrs Shah- Desai in London who corrects ectropion for about £1000 per eye - she seems to be an expert. Not that you want to spend more, but if it helps! I'm much more inclined to have fillers, or I suppose fat transfer is meant to be better but that too can have unpredictable results. It's a minefield that's for sure! All the best to you for your continuing improvement - and thanks again.
Mine are pretty good now and will probably be better in a couple of months. I did post my before pics. They were puffy, not so baggy. I am just warning to be very cautious and try and get some idea that your surgeon is really good at it. I was quite frightened at first as I have a dry eye condition and was really kicking myself. I think with my age and eye probs, it took a long time for muscles to strengthen up again. Doctors actually cut some muscle down there so it can stretch. I didn't do my uppers because that is where the tear glands are and I didn't want to push it. Good luck with your decision!
Congrats! So glad everything worked out! My PS told me 3 months between surgeries, so end of the year would be plenty of time in between.
Yes! And it will probably be a walk in the park compared to the FL;)
Precise! Did you have your lower eyes done?
The above was for Sminky!
