More on my progress

WORTH IT
Well, I seen my PS for my last check up. I thought I needed something more for my upper stomach, we talked and he said I did not need more skin removal, due to it being so tight. I need some Liposuction done. He reassured me that if I decided to get a Breast Lift he would do my Lipo at the same time with no extra cost!!!! He stated that these are happy Surgery's, and that he wanted me to be happy not stressed. I think I found a jewel in this Dr. Now to save the money. It will be next fall before I can afford to do it. He said the cost for both would be 6,000 to 7000 dollars. Since having 10 plus #'s removed it's so much better and I can wait for the other.

My next check up

I go to Coos Bay on September 22nd. I'm beyond thrilled with my Panni, I only wish my PS would have told me that my upper stomach would still be a little bit bigger than I wanted. But all is good otherwise. At first I didn't want to have my breastfeeding lift done...now I'm really thinking about it. At the same time or even just for my upper stomach I think I want a tummy tuck with muscle repair. We will see. I'm going to think about this I can't do it right now and I need to save up the money because the insurance company usually don't cover these kind of operations. Even tho they don't I'm totally ok with this. My insurance company has done far more than I expected. All in all Dr. MANDERS is the one that I will go to. He is a excellent Surgeon! !! Thank's again Dr. MANDERS

I am a little behind here. I talked to my PS, and I need to have a little Lipo done, no more skin surgery. He said if and when I decided to have my breast lift he would do the Lipo at the same time. I need to save for this as it will be 6,000 to 7,000 dollars. I need to come up with 3,000 dollars for my little dog first. She needs surgery on her knees. So she's first. Maybe by late summer of next year I will get to finish my boobs and Lipo. Wish me luck.

My Panni update

Well, my friends I had my 3 week follow up yesterday. My PS was so impressed with my healing, he said look at this you are flat. He took 2 more pictures. Lol. And I'm cleared to resume my exercise. He told me that my skin weighed 10 plus #'s. I'm still swollen and he had to remove some old blood from my right side, he gave me a Lidocaine shot that was the worse. Since my surgery I've lost 7#'s. He told me that my body will move the tissue around and I can expect swelling up to 3 months. What a great guy!!!! He always says I have a amazing strong body and that I'm ahead of the game in healing! Following your journey. Keep on keeping on!!!

When is your surgery? It all is soooo worth everything!!! Both surgery 's. Good luck
Not sure when I get my RNY....Dec maybe...I still have diet classes to take and they don't strat til Oct
You will get there! !! Just keep your eyes on the prize!!! The classes are ok, but if your like I was i felt overwhelmed. There's so much to try to remember. My notebook was a life saver. One thing that helped me was i journaled before, during and some after. I really need to start it again. It's fun to go back thru and see where we came from. Congratulations on taking the steps to better yourself!!!
I know there will be some journaling @ the classes for what we eat and how we exercise. I'm thinking thou...maybe I could start now since I am not eating fast food or sugar or white flour. Might do me some good as I try to lose weight before the classes start. Thanks for sharing :)
I really think keeping track of your progress is so very important. It's something to look back on and reflect on what works for you. I really like going back and reading where my head was at any given time. Helps with my inner growth too.

So happy for you!  Your journey is inspirational to me as it looks like I will be starting my own.  Keep up the good work.
