My 32 C/D cup breasts began to lose its tissue and fullness that it once had after breastfeeding both children. My breasts wouldn't even fill in a 32 B cup-sized bra. After months of sleepless nights doing research and watching YouTube videos on breast augmentations, I went through with my breast augmentation to achieve my goal of regaining the same size and full-shaped breasts I once had. I originally wanted somewhere around 285 cc's and 300cc's to give me a borderline natural but noticeable look. However, my surgeon decided on (Allergan/Natrelle Silicone-filled breast implants) 240cc's for the left breast and 270cc's for the right breast which were placed under the muscle. I couldn't be more happier with the results!

Hi! We have similar (not spot on but similar) before stats! I am doing a lot of research trying to find women that have a similar before breast to mine due to my slight sagging. I do not want to have a lift and have seen amazing results with just the augmentation. I read your update and saw that you are unhappy with the profile your ps used. Are you still feeling that way? My consultation is in 11 days and assume he will suggest mp+ due to width, but I love a "natural" look with more lower pole fullness and won't mind a little sag after, as that is what I am starting with! Do you have a recent photo to post now that it has been a few more weeks? Thanks for sharing your story!

Hi Kimberly! I am glad that you find my review helpful. I am still unhappy with the sag and wish for a lift in the near future. I find that I am very satisfied with my breasts in a bikini top, a nice bra, and under clothing. However, I can't seem to fully accept this saggy look when they are out of a bra. I will post a most recent photo for you to see!

I feel like I may have the same sentiments about my breasts after the augmentation. I cannot wait to see mine in a bathing suit! (Funny as I haven't even had my first consultation yet). I am trying to prepare myself to accept the sag, though it may be harder when all is said and done! :)

Wrong Profile Implant

So I just found out that not only did the surgeon put in a smaller size than we talked about, but he also put a moderate profile instead of the high profile that we had agreed upon 6 months before the surgery and just before entering the operating room. I only found out about it not being the correct profile because I looked up the Allergan natrelle Style 10 which shows on my card that I went home with after surgery and it says moderate profile, not high. I'm a little bummed out by this because I was expecting my breasts to project more after the sag from breastfeeding, and now I find out that this won't be happening, and I can't really afford to do another surgery to correct this. I guess the most I could do is express my concerns at my 4 week follow-up appointment today.

Hi, hope your healing us going well would love to see pictures. That's shocking he didn't use the ones you agreed on or at least discussed it with you prior to surgery I'd be fuming! When do you see your ps again? It's a lot of money to spend and for him not to clear on what he's doing is really bad....hope he has a good reason why he changed it last minute xx

Thanks! Yes I will post a before and after picture. I'm not so proud of mine anymore, though. As the swelling went down after healing, my breasts are still noticeably saggy. :(

Nmy breasts are similar
To yours only larger & saggier and i am in the research and preparation stage. I think the high profiles
Look great and give more upper pole fullness but i learned that they are a much more narrow base & its possible you needed the wider base which are moderate profile? I am probably going to guess ill need the moderate because mine are wider. I personally think your result is really good and they are still going to drop and fill?? I really would be happy with your result! I also think i will need mine over thr muscle which provides more lift

I didn't really think about the high profile being narrower at the base than the moderate profile. That's a good point you made there. And I definitely would have wished to go over the muscle rather than under, but my surgeon is very particular over doing the surgery under the muscle. I've heard that when exercising the upper body with under the muscle implants, the implants start to develop a weird shape bringing the breasts closer to the armpit area. So I'm trying to avoid working out my upper body too much. If you get over the muscle implants, then you should be fine.

Severe Ptosis

I went to my 4 week follow-up visit with my surgeon where I was finally able to express my concerns on the size, profile, and sag of my breast implants. He apologized to me and said he thought the smaller and moderate- sized implants he chose would be best for me especially for being a mother of two to whom I breastfed for 19 months each.

He says he didn't realize that just the implant alone would not fix the problem, which now I'm pretty upset because I knew my breasts were droopy and lacked breast tissue before surgery, which is why I went in for my consultation with him last Summer, where I spoke of my interests in a lift but he said I didn't need it and that the implants would "fix" my problem.

Now here I am with breast implants that i dished out all of my savings for, and I still have saggy boobs. I'm starting to question whether wasting all that money to do this procedure was even worth it. Of course, my surgeon decides to tell me now that I also need a mastopexy, which he only performs on women ages 40+ and has never done on someone as young as I am. I never realized just how much stretched out skin I had on my breasts before surgery and I have never felt so humiliated, discouraged, and disappointed.

Omg! Why did he do that? Maybe they'll settle after a couple months. If it were me, I'd consult an attorney. You didn't consent to those implants.

They don't look bad. No job looks great within the first 8 weeks anyway.

Before going into surgery, I remember the nurse's assistant who helped me with the sizer fitting told me that the surgeon had the final decision in what size implants would go in. The surgeon said that what he did was put in 240/270 because with the breast tissue I already had, it supposedly equaled to the 285cc that I wanted, when I thought that for the surgery I was getting the actual 285cc put in.

Give it another month and see if you feel any different (that's what I would do). I know its frustrating when you get an image in your head and it doesn't turn out like you expected. I wish id gone bigger and I'm still very tender over my whole boobs even 4 weeks on ( not sure if this is normal :/). If your really unhappy go see him again and express ur feelings....you've nothing to lose chick x

Thanks. I guess my surgeon didn't realize just how much excess skin there was on the top of my breasts after breastfeeding. I think he tried his best to fix my problem, but it just didn't happen at the the extent that I thought it would. I do hope that my breast shape will improve over the course of the next few months.

I know what your saying but as a surgeon he should have checked all this before hand and had a good feel! lol....I breast feed 3 children and although my were smaller than yours I also had excess tissue.
It is what it is, but I bet in 3 months youll love em!
They are definatly bigger which is great!

I'm actually very tender too still even at this 4 week post op mark. I brought this up at my appointment also and my surgeon said it's perfectly normal. That should go away soon! I did forget to ask about my scars. They are really lumpy inside. How are yours healing up?

Yep Mine are the same. I can sleep on my sides no problem and morning boob is getting better. The sensitivity is horrid especially when it's cold, just want to walk around holding them lol. Scars still lumpy but I'm sure it will get better in time x

I agree... that's straight bs! I'm getting my surgery in two weeks and I better walk out with what we agreed on or there will be legal consciences.
