WORTH IT
If I had known how hard it would be caring for a fussy 9 month old while recovering from surgery, I my have put it off a bit. Maybe not. I'm going to a last minute appointment today to see if my right breast is infected. It's the side I lift my son with the most and rock him to bed now so I wouldn't be shocked.. I've been upping my vitamin intake and being extra carefully, but it seems to be draining much more than my left. And maybe it's just fine, but I'd rather be age than sorry.
Here is my updated picture. I am wearing bralettes comfortably, I think most of my irritation is from the new skin on and around my nipple area.

He was extremely knowledgeable, and able to answer all of my questions before I asked them really. He also did my sisters procedure so I was able to get an idea of how I would turn out before committing, I was very happy with her results and am excited to see how mine progress.

I feel pretty amazing, loving my new boobs and I can't wait to see how they start to look as the weeks pass and they settle more. I had my first post op appointment today and everything looked great my doctor said. I got a refill on my pain meds and instructions for the next few weeks. To start using vaseline on my incisions ( I plan to use coconut oil covered by vaseline) and gauze as needed. Wearing any tight fitting sport bra is fine and I am still restricted to limited activity. Although with a o month d son I don't have much choice, as my husband goes back to work Monday. I've already been quite active in between naps and so far all is well as long as I am careful. Here's an updated photo.

Feeling so much better today, my under arms aren't nearly as sore and I'm healing really well, I think. I have my first appointment on Tuesday and will be 8 days post op. Because of my large breasts I've always had this horrible rash under them. It's embarrassing and I felt disgusting. A day and a half ago I started using coconut oil to promote faster healing of in between my breasts and will eventually us it all over once my incisions are closed up more. Here are the already amazing results! :)

Happy Healing!!
Looks like you had a nipple graft.
Yep, I asked that my doctor take out the most he was comfortable with, and since he does most reductions in the lollipop/short scar way a nipple graft was pretty necessary. To get the lift and size I wanted it only made sense.
