Not Sure If I Should Continue...

$1,200
I had my first CoolTone treatment yesterday on my buttocks. The machine was turned up to 98% for most of the 30 minutes. I was expecting to be pretty sore after and I feel absolutely nothing. I was reading some more information on it and am now thinking I wasn't a good candidate for this as I may have too much fat in my buttocks area or not enough muscle. I am 5' 1.5" and weigh about 105lbs. I am not overweight but would describe myself as "skinny -fat". The ratio of muscle to body fat was not discussed in the consult but I am now thinking that could be the problem. The person who I had the consultation with was very helpful and friendly but I honestly don't think this place really looked at whether or not I was a good candidate--just wanted to sell the package.
I am not going to name the provider yet because I have only had one treatment. I am wondering if I should stop now and see if I can switch to CoolSculpting instead or keep trying but if there is no difference I am sure there won't be any refund. I only have 3 sessions left so I know it may be too early to tell but I really feel like I should feel something in the area that was treated. If there is no soreness whatsoever how can it possibly be stimulating the muscles to build them? It is such a new machine I am wondering if the placement of the paddles could be incorrect. Any advice on if I should keep going or try to change out my package for CoolSculpting?

Have you had your other treatments yet? I'm signed up for 6 starting next week. Are you happy? Any advice?
Not happy with the outcome at all!!!. I am thinking it has to do with my age-53. I am in fairly decent shape--5'1" and about 105 lbs and workout regularly. I see the other photos posted and can see the results so not sure why there is no change at all.
Yes I finished 4 treatments-which is what they said was needed. I do not see any results whatsoever. I know most are giving it a great review but I feel it was a total waste of money. I honestly don't think the "consult" was to determine if I was a good candidate for this or not. Maybe I don't even have enough muscle to build & that a why it didn't work. Keep in mind they take photos immediately after treatment. I don't feel that is accurate as your muscles have just been contracting for 30 minutes--they should look tighter. By the end of the day everything was back to normal--i.e.-no toning!
I was told by the technician that more than 4 are necessary. I've done 4 on my abs and I see and feel a small decent difference but I'm not in fab shape, so it would be better if I was. I sighed up for a package of 12 for my abs and have 8 more to go. I want to do my butt however am worried about feeling like you. I have been told the muscle will continue to develop over the next few weeks.
I'm happy about my abs because I have occasional back issues from a car accident. I feel like I have more support from my abs for my lower back. I'm worried about the butt now after hearing your results. Any pics? Even privately?
No pics sorry. The place I had it done took them and the technician verified there was no change whatsoever. I am thinking maybe I am too old for this??? Harder to build muscle if I am post menopause possibly. I am planning on contacting maker of Cool Tone machine directly (if possible) to see if teh machine has been tested on patients post menopause. The place where I had it done is not concerned that I wasted my money.
I understand about the pics. I struggle to post any myself. This is frustrating, if they told you that you were a good candidate and you didn't have any results. I just posted my Cooltone review (part 1) and I'm skeptical of it helping my backside. I hope it's not $ in the garbage.
Let me know what the Cooltone people say? Maybe they will give you a rebate or gift cards for something else? Have you signed up for Brilliant Distinctions/Allé? You get points towards other treatments like Botox, fillers, CT, CoolSculpting, etc. I got $240 for each of my Cooltone purchases. I haven't tried Botox yet but it's always nice to have coupons.
