Not Sure If I Should Continue...
I had my first CoolTone treatment yesterday on my buttocks. The machine was turned up to 98% for most of the 30 minutes. I was expecting to be pretty sore after and I feel absolutely nothing. I was reading some more information on it and am now thinking I wasn't a good candidate for this as I may have too much fat in my buttocks area or not enough muscle. I am 5' 1.5" and weigh about 105lbs. I am not overweight but would describe myself as "skinny -fat". The ratio of muscle to body fat was not discussed in the consult but I am now thinking that could be the problem. The person who I had the consultation with was very helpful and friendly but I honestly don't think this place really looked at whether or not I was a good candidate--just wanted to sell the package.
I am not going to name the provider yet because I have only had one treatment. I am wondering if I should stop now and see if I can switch to CoolSculpting instead or keep trying but if there is no difference I am sure there won't be any refund. I only have 3 sessions left so I know it may be too early to tell but I really feel like I should feel something in the area that was treated. If there is no soreness whatsoever how can it possibly be stimulating the muscles to build them? It is such a new machine I am wondering if the placement of the paddles could be incorrect. Any advice on if I should keep going or try to change out my package for CoolSculpting?
