Worked at First but Later Got "Rare" Complication

I tried Coolscupting first on my stomach and didn't see a lot of results, but then I tried it on flanks & the bra fat area and was really impressed after about 4-6 weeks. I eagerly signed up for more sessions! Then, after a while, maybe 6-12 months, it seemed like I was having some weight issues when in reality I had developed the supposedly "rare" complication, paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (which I suspect isn't as rare as they say since it can look a lot like weight gain, and you know how we all judge weight gain as the individual's fault, like I certainly did with myself). An weirdly, I bloat way more than I ever have which just makes it look even worse. Now I need aggressive lipo because it isn't just fat but also fibrous tissue.
