CoolSculpting, was it worth it?

Short answer: absolutely yes!!!! In fact, I want to get more done this year. So here is my story. I got CoolSculpting done on my lower abdomen in July of last year. I have always fluctuated in weight by about 20 pounds, but even at my smallest I always had a little pouch of fat on my tummy that made a roll were medium rise jeans would sit. I always despised this, I felt it really restricted what clothes I could wear. The procedure was fine, uncomfortable to the point where it felt hard to breathe but nothing awful. Then, they took the machine off. This was by far the worst part. I looked down at my stomach, and I passed out. It was disgusting, it looked like a block of raw meat. I had a bit of a panic attack, couldn't breathe, and passed out. Wake up to nurse waving smelling salts in my face. Turns out there is a name for this, something like a vegal response. Anyways, due to this I requested they not massage my stomach after, as I was really freaked out. I wish that they did looking back at it, but at the time I didn't realize it was important. The nurse basically said we don't need to, so I said then lets not. I do not know if this messed with my results or not. The area felt numb and tingly for about a week or two after. So then weeks go by, I don't notice much of a difference. Then months go by, I am starting to really regret not getting the dang massage after. Then all the sudden, bam. My tummy roll is noticeable smaller. I look down in the shower and I swear it was a miracle. This area that I have always hated, when I had a BMI of 23 or a BMI of19, was finally gone. Comparing the before and afters doesn't look extreme, but I notice it every day. My clothes fit better, I literally don't have a roll when I sit down. I can wear a bikini and feel so so so much better. I felt like I was still seeing results for a few months. I think it took about 6-8 months for the results to be final. Here is the before and after about a year apart. Overall, I can't recommend CoolSculpting enough!!
