Treatment with Clatuu on Stomach, 5 Weeks After
I'm a lightly overweight trans gender woman and despite being on hormones for more than 2.5 yrs, my figure has hardly feminized at all. Whenever I lose weight, it goes away from all feminine places, but never from the stomach/flanks. I just end up looking more masculine
So I figured that cryopolysis with the Clatuu might be useful for finally reducing the fat in the stomach and might even help get some fat in feminine places, because there would be less fat cells in the stomach.
The treatment went painless and well. The slightly swollen area felt strangely numb and within the fat tissue there were some hard lumps. I thought this was probably normal and that this was the destroyed cells that will eventually get out of my body.
However, it has now been almost 5 weeks and the area is still bigger and clumpier. If I touch it, I can feel a hard mass within the fatlayer. I followed dieting advice in these weeks, but I only lost weight in feminine place (my butt has almost disappeared). Meanwhile my stomach seems bigger than ever.
I'm very worried that it's Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia. I know this is very rare, but with how unlucky I have been during my life...it really doesn;t seem unlikely to happen to me. The provider said that PAH doesn't happen with the Claatu, only with Coolsculpting. Looking around on the internet, I found out that this is wrong
I'm wondering if anybody can give alternative reason for having this result. Maybe for some people it takes longer for the damaged cells to be removed?
Due to most transgender treatments not being covered by insurance I'm already in big money problem. Having to do specialized liposuction on my stomach would be a unfortunate additional money drain.
