3 day post treatment ??
The last couple of days has been a breeze- out of all the areas treated the abdomen by far has the most numbness... it’s not in any way painful unless you push on it. The upper abdomen is still the area most sensitive. As for my legs... really, I can’t feel that anything was done. In terms of swelling.... just my tummy.... no bruising, no redness. I’ll keep updating through the upcoming weeks. With all the comments I’m worried about days 4-9— and the nervous system kicking in to help regenerate the fascia around the deadened fat cells. Either way, I’ll keep you posted! ??
The day after... Morning:)
Slept comfortable and woke with little discomfort. Feeling mostly like a light bruising and nothing more.....only a few red marks where the suction gaskets were placed. The most sensitive area out of all the locations, my abdomen ( I suspected it would be the case since it felt miserable and he most intense upon the removal yesterday). The least noticeable area of sensitivity is the back of my thighs... I don’t notice any sensitivity. My inner thighs, not too bad but much more sensitive when they touch;) I’ll keep you all posted!
CoolSculpting (fire and ice)
Today I start my journey of CoolSculpting ..I have pondered for over a year to go this route as Ive never taken such drastic measures to try and appear less fat. All my life I have been athletic, fit, and well shaped (probably too thin or most). I am a petite 5.2” 150lb woman. Up until about 4 years ago, never weighed a bit over 120– little fluctuations throughout my life. I am now 47 and believe much of my weight gain is due to Lexapro— I was put on it when I became suddenly ill 8 years ago and wound up hospitalized for a series of e-coli — which later turned autoimmune.
Well, staying active, watching what I eat... and loving my body with love wasn’t helping reduce or maintain the weight. So here I sit hoping that I can get some of my physic back by CoolSculpting.
Today, I’m getting 12 points done... upper abdomen, lower abdomen, both inner thighs, and both back of the legs (banana roll).... each are two points. As I sit here and type, I am 2/3 of the way through the process.
Beginning this was a breeze an I felt very confident with the doctor and the licensed professional. I knew she was one of the most skilled technician with this procedure and apparatus. My goal is a 30% reduction.... she thinks I am a great candidate.
The start of suction is easy and really not terribly painful... a 3 out of 10. During the procedure, no pain, just the feeling of pressure. The removal really has no pain until about 30 seconds .... threshold goes up to a solid 5-6. As the massage takes place and the area begins to warm pain goes up again another notch. Out of all the areas treated... the abdomen was by far the worst and least tolerable. I felt horrible for about 5 minutes with a lot of referred pain In my back. I was told that’s a very small number of patients that experience this though, lucky me! It was a solid 9 on the pain scale with some associated nausea.
Now time for he final removal of the lady treatment ... back of the thighs. Hope to get back soon and share a few pictures.
