Not Very Painful but Lots of Numbness
hobbsy95August 9, 2024
I had my first treatment on my double chin last Saturday. I was worried about the pain of the treatment but it was less painful than holding straight ice against the skin. The big thing about the actual treatment was the suction and how long it would take. I was told about 1hr for it but because I had two applicators (I forget what they’re called), it took 45 mins on the skin each applicator and the mess around before and inbetween each applicator. It ended up taking about 2.15hrs.
After the session I had a lot of numbness and even a week later, I am still quite numb. I didn’t need to take any panadol or anything for the pain after the session. I also had some bruising from the suction. It looked like I had hickies on my neck. I can’t see a change yet but I’m sure it’s to come.
This is my before photo.
