Today I experienced what it feels like having your body frozen. I was told that Cool Sculpting freezes fat cells without damaging the skin, which can remove the stubborn fat areas that no amount of exercise or dieting can get rid of (allegedly). The treatment took about two hours (one hour on each side of my hip).
First, the technician marks the area to be treated. Second, once you are laying down, he/she covers your skin with a plastic film to avoid the direct contact with the skin. Then (and the most important part), the tech. aligns the panels that will deliver the cold temperature over the marked areas. At first, when the temperatures reached the freezing point I felt intense pain that eventually diminished once my body became numb. I spent one hour on each leg filling a little the numb/pain on my hips. Once the treatment was done, the technician massaged each side very vigorously which was very painful.
It is about 7 hours post treatment and I still feel my hips numb! I don't see any bruises at this point, but I definitely can't feel that part of my leg.
They said I have to wait at least one month to see the results. I'll be posting on that. Thank you.
