I saw Lauren at Dr. Rafal's to discuss Coolsculpting on my outer thighs. Being slim to begin with, I was told a good outcome would be achieved with one treatment/cycle. I made an appointment and received treatment on the 2 areas (outer thighs) for an hour each. I did more than the required post treatment protocol by massaging the area for 15 minutes, every day for 3 months. I went back for every required follow up to have pictures taken in order to fulfill the coolsculpting guarantee for fat loss. Several months afterward, I noticed a dimple in one treatment area and then finally a very noticeable, significant dent developed. It is very noticeable while wearing leggings, shorts or a bathing suit. I made another appointment with Lauren to discuss my concerns. (Before the meeting, I researched the causes of such a large indent after Coolsculpting. It is caused by an error of the practitioner in site application and/or time of the paddle on the skin during treatment). Lauren agreed that the dent was significant and suggested a plan for repair. I was happy Lauren saw what I saw and felt it could be corrected. She said that although the price for Coolsculpting had increased since my treatment, she'd honor the price I originally paid to do the repair! I left the office in disgust and embarrassment never to return. For Dr. Rafal's practice to charge a patient for their error is both insulting and laughable at the same time. I've decided to have and pay for the correction of the dent in my leg madly Lauren at Dr. Rafal's practice. I will be treated by a doctor who stands behind the integrity of his work and is focused on my satisfaction, not his bottom line.
