I am 5 weeks post op for complete TT and muscle rebuilder.
Healing was fine, drains out in 4 days, scar healed no issue, sore belly button, cleared up by just keeping it clean and dry.
First 3 weeks stayed very low activity as I was really feeling crummy, at 3 1/2 weeks I got pnuemonia. Maybe from surgery, too tight binder or not enough activity, can't be sure.
But now at 5 weeks I have too much fluid in my right lung that has become gel-like and I must have surgery to remove. Real surgery , in the hospital for 3 days surgery.
I'm more upset than you know . I listened to my PS, I listened to my body as he told me. How did this happen? It's devastating.

Did they have you coughing much after surgery? I know they like you to cough any gunk up and if you didn't, I can see how you'd have gotten in trouble. I'm so sorry to read this. I don't know what your surgery will entail, but I hope you bounce back quickly.

No, nobody had me cough anything up. I don't know, it is what it is . Stay active ladies and if you think your binders are too tight, they are!

I am so sorry. It sounds like an ordeal. But I am sure when they get the fluid out, you will bounce back quickly. After having surgery, I can't imagine having to go back in for another one, especially three days in hospital. But let them wait on you while you are in the hospital. Sleep as much as possible and enjoy the little ping pong ball contraption. Now that they know the problem and the solution, try to not stress as much. You should feel better quickly! We are sending prayers and healing thoughts your way. Please let us know how you are doing thru this.

Thankyou for the pep talk, I need it. I'm gonna get thru it, and be up at Barre class soon and get my TT looking better than ever!

I'm sorry this happened to you and I pray you are better. I went for a consultation with this guy and he is a disaster of a person!! Mean, nasty, embittered and hateful....go elsewhere and find a caring doctor. His consultation was only $30.00 but you would be better off going out for a nice lunch....it would be a far better experience!! Take good care dear lady!
would be doing great.
My advice would be to get up and move as much as you can, after the first week. I think I didn't move around enough, I don't know.
Aside from all my drama, I do not regret my TT decision, in the long run it will be great, but it's a long run. It will take several months, I have to remind myself of that as well.
They do an incision on the side of my gorse and send a camera inside and scrape out of the goo on the outside of my lung. I won't lie, I'm scared.
