Revision Rhinoplasty: Not what I had hoped for.

Sadly I didn't see any improvements over last few months but definitely noticed that my tip started looking weird as the swelling went away. Swollen tip was making my nose tip look fuller in a good way. Now the nostrils look wonky, bridge is irregular and dented. right and left profiles look different and there is a bump on my bridge. I had some fillers done on the caved in side and it did make the nose look better for a month or so. I really disliked my nose earlier but now I wish I had never gone through this revision, I miss my old nose. The only good thing is that I'm not very conscious of my people staring at me from the sides as I do see an improvement on the side view.
Have a few important things going on in life right now and that's keeping me from obsessing over my nose and that's also why I've not updated in a long time. This time around I'll take my time to research and consult with multiple surgeons before I decided who to get it fixed with. I'm thinking of getting it fixed in a couple of years or so.
Another very important thing , Please trust your gut instincts. If you read my very first/second post on this review, I had a gut instinct about not wanting to go ahead but I still did as the deposit was not refundable. I wish I trusted to my gut. Please DM me if any questions.

Check out my review. I have before and after pictures. My after picture is at 4wks, so it's still very swollen in that picture. Dr. Ghersi used cartilage from my rib to reconstruct and support the nose.

I'm sorry that you have had to have gone through such a stressful operation again and see even more problems with your nose. These plastic surgeons need to be held responsible for their actions and need to either fix this or shell out a refund. You shouldn't have to go through another one but only you know what's right. I can relate to the gut feeling you speak off. All the best

After my botched primary Rhinoplasty 6 years back, I had been eagerly waiting for the day I would finally be able to fix it. I'm heart broken that this is how my nose looks after the revision. I don't think I can avoid another revision since I don't see myself accepting my current nose and how it makes my face look.

I like the profile view. I'll be seeing Dr Yoo soon. I hope that he offers me a revision and these flaws can be corrected. I'm not sure if I should get some fillers meanwhile to make my nose look better, I'm scared that it may cause further complications if I go through another revision.

I am happy that you like the profile view. After my third botched nose job I got fillers. It is truly a miracle what they can do.
I am really considering Dr. Yoo for my revision (surgery number 4!). He told me the fillers have to be dissolved before the surgery. So I would advise you not to use them if you will have a revision in a few month .
My outcome (from a Dr. in Europe) is so much worse. I would be so happy with your nose. You are really a beautiful girl. I like your new nose much better than the old one. I am sure Dr. Yoo can correct the problem with it and than it will be perfect.

My mistake....
I just noticed your surgery is JUST 10 weeks ago. So fillers may be a good idea as they will dissolve within a few month.
After my surgeries my nose was really swollen for two years. I am shocked how great you already look.

No, I noticed the pictures order. I showed them to a friend (she also has a botched nose after two surgeries in Europe). She directly said the same what I thought when I saw your outcome: „I like the current more than the before nose“ Believe me: The crookedness can be fixend.You really have to be happy that you like your profile. Your tip is beautiful and your nostrils are symmetrical. ( By the way would you please show a picture with your new profile?)
Your face is beautiful. Dr. Yoo really knows how to do a natural looking nose. I am absolutly sure he will fix the crookedness.
Please keep us updated what he says.

My nostrils are very unsymmetrical in height and size. This problem could be fixend with fillers.
Yours are really great. Maybe it is due to the remaining swelling that they appear to be not symmetrical.
I really would change my nose with yours.
One thing I really learned after 3 surgeries: You have to be patient. My nose needs two years for its final shape.

I'm now 2 months post op and my nose looks more crooked with every passing day. I'm really disappointed with the outcome.

i dont no. you nose is maybe little crocked, but i think that is not big problem, please stop doing more nose job, can be worse, breathning problem..

May not be a big problem for you but it is for me. I would certainly not risk my breathing for a perfect nose, but I don't think straightening the dorsum is going to be a very risky surgery.

I regret so much having gone to dr. Yoo.
I booked the surgery based on the social media, but I realized that yoo wasn't the surgeon for me after the initial meeting by then it was too late to cancel the surgery.
I should have walked away even if I couldn't get my money back.
