I had laser genesis at advice of dermatologist. I was worried about aging and wrinkling under eyes. I had this done a month ago and am devastated by the adverse results! Not only ha ve wrinkles gotten deeper, they have increased in number and further down below my eyes. I can feel my skin crinkling at night as it ages. So worried and hate to go out now. Don't know how this incredible aging process could happen in one month. Please let me know if you have had a similar experience and your experience if any improvements?

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Laser Genesis, I am so sorry that you are having some negative side effects. Have you followed up with your doctor?

Hi swg123, I would love to hear more info on what you had done, ie details etc. And though I had laser around my eyes too, I'm not sure my treatment was like yours. I had CO2 laser , it was very invasive and took about 5 months to see the results( which were good) and maybe your dr did things do to your being younger, well younger than me and that's pretty much everyone! Ha ! I was almost 58 when mine were done and I went to a Plastic surgeon. Has your dr given you any aftercare, info, etc? Jwolfe

Did you notice negative side effects immediately after? How soon after? I'm sorry you are having a bad result! I just had 1 treatment last night and super paranoid that I will see negative side effect : (

How many treatments are you planning to have? I've read multiple treatments are needed for optimal results.

I'm supposed to have 2 more treatments spaced 5 weeks apart. I only had the first treatment a few days ago and thankfully my skin looks the same as before. I'm just praying there are no negative side effects like those I have read on here. I lost sleep over it the last 2 nights and I'm obsessively checking in the mirror to see if anything bad is happening. I was only doing it to firm up my skin. I'm 43 and have been lucky in that I have always looked younger than my age, and I get complimented on my skin all the time. I just personally see the wrinkles and the natural changes and thought the laser would be a nice way to improve things. Now that I read some bad reviews, I decided it's not worth taking the chance of that happening to me. Hopefully 1 treatment won't do any damage and I can go on with my life ( : The other thing is, the woman doing it, is not a doctor. She made me feel very uncomfortable last time because at the consult she said the doctor would do it, then when I went for the appt. I asked if the doctor was doing it, and she said she is the doctor. I was a bit put off and surprised bc that was not my impression. Then when I walked out I saw her esthetician license. That's when I felt my heart sink and came here to check reviews. I feel very cheated and plan to call the office to get the rest of my money back. She will be lucky if I don't report her!

Wow! Not good that she straight out lied to you. I agree if your skin isn't really bad I would just leave it alone.

I'm having 6 treatments .. Just had my 3rd last week .. I've noticed my skin tone is better but am having the treatments for uneven skin texture/sun damage .. Haven't noticed any changes there yet but it seems it takes time and people don't notice til after 4 th or 5 th treatment in that area .. Did you only have the 1 treatment?
