After years of research and contemplating, I’ve found the perfect PS. I work in healthcare, have lots of resources available to me, employed at a highly acclaim teaching and research hospital. I had a consultation with their internationally renowned PS who teach research and also run the PS department. My consult was 30 mins and I was told my only option was to have a full tummy tuck. I’ve never had surgery or gone under anesthesia before and was very reluctant with such an invasive procedure. I forgo my employee discount to become Dr. Connall’s patient for many reasons. Like others’ review on here, he was very thorough, detailed, and honest about what I can and cannot achieve with surgery. But more importantly, he REALLY listened and gave me alternatives! He agreed I could get the tummy tuck, but a less invasive and still result driven option is liposuction. This was exactly what I was hoping to hear, someone who is willing to explore options with me and willing to educate his patient on the pros and cons of each and allowing me to make the decision without influence/pressure. His surgical team was professional, compassionate, and I couldn’t ask for better care. The anesthesia registered nurse, Susan, was phenomenal. I had anxiety with general anesthesia because my son had a horrible reaction to it and both Dr. Connall and Susan spent time to explain the risks. Susan called me the day before my surgery to check in and discussed any of my concerns. I am now 3 months post-op. recovering well, had all the expected bruising, swelling, and healing. Nothing came as a surprised to me other than how well the fat graft to my breast looked! Stay tune for updates as my swelling improves.
