I have done 3 Perfect Derma Peels with the Booster for Pigmentation, in addition to 3 moths on/off of a custom Tri-Luma with 6% Hydroquinone and the Hyperpigmentation is just now disappearing. For the dents in my forehead, I have gotten fillers as well as each time I did the peel (WITH BOOSTER - very important) they improved and are almost gone. However please not the recovery really did take 1 year. I probably need 1 more peel with booster which will be my 4th.

DO NOT DO FRACTORA. I have light European, perfect skin prior to the treatment. I had done InMod's Lumecca laser many times with much success, and thought this would be just slightly more intense.
I WAS WRONG. DO NOT DO THIS TREATMENT! I went to a Plastic Surgeon's office and had the treatment from a nurse. I assumed I had done enough research. I have done many types of mesotherapy even without numbing in Europe, but nothing compared to this pain. I assumed something was wrong and had calls, texts & in-person visits to the nurse and she kept telling me the severe redness, scabs and trackmarks for a week were normal. I did get my money back after my botched treatment as they knew they did not have the expertise to help me.
I am 5 months post treatment, and I am now left with melasma everywhere & hyperpigmentation which looks like carpet burn along my jawline (where she said she did a more intense treatment). I also have 3 vertical dents/trackmarks in my forehead which I fear may be permanent scars or take years to go away. I made my general skin texture just rough and damaged, and even brought back my spider veins which I had gotten rid of months earlier with laser.
I wore a custom-strength tri-luma creme (6% hyrdoquinoin) my dermatologist made me at night for 3 months, and need to take a break from it now for 3 months. I have just finished my second Perfect Derma Peel. Although it's already been 5 months past and there has been improvement, I think it will take another 3 months of Tri-Luma and another peel to fix this all - if it's fixable. It did basically the opposite of everything it was supposed to do - the only thing it did do is tighten.
The downtime & amount of money I have spent trying to fix my face is unbelievable. I did this for skin tightening, which it's 5 months past and everything is starting to sag again. There are so many safer facial tightening treatments on the market right now I just wish I had known at the time.
A final note - I live right near the InMod headquarters and have emailed & spoken with them in hopes I could meet with someone there in person to either help me, or see my results first-had to prevent this terrible thing from ruining other people's faces and lives - and they couldn't care less. They declined seeing me.

Thank you for sharing your experience
You are not alone. InMode has known about this type of damage and has keep it out of the public. The same thing happened to me and others. Try to find a video taken from a news station in Texas. It was a big story then but you don't hear about it now. It's been over one year and I still have scars, pitting, and volume loss from this procedure. I've done ematrix peels and used everything I can think of to get rid of my orange peel texture and scars. There are times when I just don't even want to go out of the house.
I own and have performed many successful Fractora treatments. Unfortunately, it seems the operator was not well trained or knowledgeable in the setting or proper tip to use. There are coated tips which are meant for darker skin types or those at risk for PIH. With a proper consultation, proper skin care routine pre treatment and post treatment as well mandatory sunblock and the correct tip and settings- results can be assured and successful. I’ve had amazing results n
Dear laurapro, The MD who performed Fractora had done it before on me without damaging my skin. Also a very well known Beverly Hills Dermatologist had a similar experience on a patient. Inmode knew about the potential to damage the skin and didn't report it. It was on a TV news channel in Texas. They paid off the patient. I am an RN and did proper skin care after the treatment. I burned and blistered and scarred. Pitting and holes in my face and again I'm not the only one.
I absolutely hated Fractora as well, though my results were not as terrible as yours, I had scabbing and ‘track marks’ for months before they finally resolved and volume loss to my cheeks— fat fell to my jowls. Would never do it again or recommend it to anyone. I also have light, European skin.
Join the club. It's been 18 months post treatment and I'm still left with vertical scars, pitting, and hyper pigmentation...and sagging skin. Fractora is a nightmare clocked in the promise of a youthful dream.
