ALMOST TWO YEARS LATER

This may it will be two years since I have received breast reduction surgery and I couldn't be happier. I am able to do what ever I want now without my breast getting in the way or being a distraction to others around me. I'm not sure what happen to all my before and after pictures but here are some final result pictures now that my breast are completely healed and settled. Also some final advice if you're looking to get breast reduction for comfort reasons and you don't mind not having a "big rack" I would recommend possibly going smaller, I'm happy but sometimes I wish I had.

Thanks for sharing. Why do you "recommend possibly going smaller,"?

Just because there are still somethings I wish I could wear. I was supposed to be a small D large C and I am for sure still a solid D. I still have to wear XL bathing suit. But I'm happy because at least I can wear normal bathing suits

1 month!!!

Today is one month since I had my surgery and it may be cliche but i really couldn't be happier. I have seen a change in my body and attitude that I never thought I would have. It was weird although right after my surgery I had no back pain (I think the pain of my chest distracted me a little) as I was driving the other day I realized I have absolutely no back pain. It was such a relief and really put the whole process into perspective. It truly was all worth it and I'm not even fulling healed!

Just wondering, how did this affect school? Did you miss a lot or were you able to go back soon?

I was actually lucky enough I get to do the surgery right before February break so I got a week off without kissing any school. Then once I finally returned most of the intense soreness had gone away and I was able to return to daily school activities comfortably.

Thanks for posting your journey! My 16 year old daughter is also going to have a reduction. We've had the consultation and are in the process of scheduling the surgery. I'm just wondering how it was for school? I know she can't have a heavy backpack. She wants to have he surgery on a Friday with plans to attend school on Monday. What are your thoughts on that? Thank you!

Hello! Sorry for replying so late! I haven't been keeping up. Congrats on your daughters surgery. It didn't affect school too much. I was able to take a week off without missing school because I did the surgery right before February break, so once I returned to school most of the intense soreness was gone and I was able to get around comfortably.
