I cannot say enough about how amazing Dr. Doherty is. I met several doctors while pondering this surgery and as soon as I walked into his office and met him, I knew he was THE one. He was friendly, enthusiastic, warm and kind and I felt comfortable with him immediately. As uncomfortable as it is to undress in front of a stranger, even a doctor and his assistant, for him to assess what I needed done, he had such a caring demeanor and way of discussing what I wanted done as well as what he could do to help me. This was a huge, elective procedure in my eyes and I needed someone I felt 100% trusting of, knowing the outcome was completely in his hands from the way my stomach looked to trusting he would make it look and feel as natural and perfect as he could. And he did. The day of the procedure he calmed my nerves, made me laugh and took incredible care to make sure I felt comfortable proceeding. After the surgery he was there immediately to see his smile and calm my hazy nerves. In the days following he checked in on me numerous times with exceptional care- in the hospital, the office, via phone call and even text. He really devotes himself to his patient care and any time I had a worry he thoroughly answered me with concern and care. He made several calls to personally check in with me in the following weeks, which was greatly appreciated. He genuinely takes interest in his patients and their well being. He really goes above and beyond taking amazing care of his patients.
