I am a mom of one, am 30 years old, 5ft tall, 105lbs. and recently got engaged to the love of my life. He has a son I adore, and we are happy with our little family of four.... No more babies :)
Soooo, I have been researching for over a year, have met with 6 doctors, and considered multiple approaches to fix my "mommy tummy". I have finally found my doc, decided on which surgery will best accomplish my goals, and secured financing. I am so excited that in just a few short months, I will begin another journey with my body. I had my daughter when I was 23, and gained about 80lbs. Luckily I lost the weight very quickly, but was left with a bulge. I am highly active, lift weights every day, and maintain a strict diet... But none of that can fix those darn seperated muscles. Now at 30 years old, I am reclaiming my body, to be the best, most fit, sexiest me I can be!!

35 days to go!!
The countdown begins. I can't believe that next month, I will be having surgery. It's been 7 1/2 years since I had a flat stomach. I was trying to remember what it was like... I couldn't! I got pregnant at 22, so have had this bulgy tummy just about my entire adult life. I'm so ready to get my sexy back!!
My fiancé and I picked out a freakin sweet ass leather power love-seat recliner. It should be delivered right before the surgery. I can't wait for that, it'll be good for surgery but awesome for family snuggles and movie watching post recovery!
I bought a bunch of granny panties, large yoga pants, spans for after I'm done with the CG, and hit up Walgreens for all my OTC meds and stuff; tea, throat drops, milk of magnesia, ibuprofen, cleaning wipes, depends, maxi pads... I think that's it haha. Had luckily my fiancé is in the skin care industry, so I'm set with top of the line scar lotions and ointments. I'm a huge planner, and I get very stressed if I am not well prepared in advance.
I have my pre-op next Wednesday and have about a whole page of questions for my PS. I'm looking forward to it, and hope I'll feel more ready and less anxious.
I am very very excited... but nervous. After all it is major surgery, and intense recovery. My fiancé keeps reminding me that I am young and very fit and strong, so not to worry. He's right I guess, as usual :) I'm trying to stay focused on the image of my toned hot ass self in a bikini! I can see my upper abbs where I don't have the mommy tummy part, and I can't wait to see what I'll look like once I'm recovered and back to lifting... Exciting stuff!!
I'll post an update if anything changes after my pre-op, but if not I'll be back with pictures next month!

Updated before pictures... on week to surgery!
I thought I would put together some organized before photos, with the hopes of being able to wear the same clothing items and keep better track of my progress in the weeks and months to come. The black bathing suit bottomes are very low cut, and according to my PS, that's how low my scar will be. He will actually be "replacing" my c-section scar and says it will only be about 6 inches long, not hip to hip, since I don't have any skin that needs to be removed from the sides.
The brown bathing suit is my favorite bikini ever, and actualy the only one I kept over the course of the past 7 years.; hoping I would one day be able to wear it again. I am sure I will be buying more though this summer =) That's going to be a FUN shopping trip, and I am really looking forward to it!
