34 Year Old Trying to Gain my Confidence Back with Lipo of the Abdomen, Back, Flanks and Arms and a Right Areola Reduction. - OH

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have not updated sooner but I really wanted to start seeing some of my major swelling go down before I too some after photos. I'm not going to sugar coat this ... they swelling and bruising was BAD right after surgery. I had a tough time of it. Directly after surgery of course I had a BAD reaction to the anesthesia and almost had to go to the hospital, I was so out of it and nauseated that I couldn’t get up and had to stay in the surgical center for almost 6 hours after my surgery, they wanted me to go to the hospital but I bit the bullet threw up in my bucket and went home lol. Make sure you bring something in the car you can throw up in that has a cover! Just in case! Any way when I got home I didn’t have one of those immediate result situations where the swelling comes later I looked like a purple bratwurst! it was BAD and since I has my back, flanks, stomach and arms done for the first several days I could not get up from a laying position on my own I needed a lot of assistance from my husband. I used a lot of arnica gel and arnica pills and it literally made this purple all over bruising dissipate in a week .. I highly suggest arnica! But for me it didn’t really help the swelling. I was in a great deal of pain for the first 10 days and really regretting having done this to myself. Then I had the added bonus of having an allergic reaction the dissolvable sutures so I had to have them removed and take a series of prednisone But with the direction of my wonderful Doctor Zochowski I kept pushing forward and wearing the binders and eventually with his ok moved to spanx like compression garments. I am finally 3 weeks in starting to see some major results and I could not be more thrilled! I have not felt this confident or great about my body in years and I know it with just get better over the next few months! My breast is still healing so it looks a lil narly but they are even now! Finally I can walk around the house topless and myself and my husband are thrilled! lol I am so glad I did this ... not only has it changed my outlook on my body but it has made me make some major lifestyle changes, fruit for breakfast, salads for lunch lean meats and veggies for dinner and lots of waster with cucumber and mint in mason jars! I have not had this much energy in YEARS! So here are my pics so far ... I will update more as the results improve ... hang in there ... the results will come!

I am scheduled for a Liposuction and a reduction of my right areola. My whole life I have had problem areas with maintaining a good shape, my whole family are very heavy I mean 300 pounds plus, I am the smallest one and to maintain my ideal body weight I literally had to work out twice a day everyday and eat next to nothing, for my and my genetics it is just not doable. But even at my thinnest my arms still looked like bat wings and my stomach always had that "joey pouch" as if I were a kangaroo. Now getting older I have the added plus of back fat that will just not go away. I have not work a tank top without a sweater for as long as I can remember. I am tired of being the one at the summer picnic sweating through my cardigan! Also as you can see from my pics I have one areola that is substantially bigger than the other and am not even comfortable having no bra on in front of my husband not in the dark. He has been so supportive and tells me all the time he loves the way I look and thinks I am sexy, but I don't feel that way and want to for me and my husband. It is coming up fast to my surgery and I am excited but also scared!! Panic attack city over here! I just keep reading all of the terrible things that can go wrong, I know I shouldn't but I cant help myself! Ahhhhh ... I just hope everything goes well and that I can finally wear that tank top I so long to wear in hot weather and feel comfortable in my own skin!!!
