Dr. C of Columbus GA did my surgery on March 28...

Dr. C of Columbus GA did my surgery on March 28 2011 and my results are great. Im still a little swollen and sore but things are tolerable with tylenol. I had a very bad overhanging stomach which bothered me for years so I decided it was time. Money well spent. Dr. C has a caring friendly staff that make you feel at home. He is patient and listens to your every concern. Here is a few things you should know. Please follow all pre-op orders before surgery as written and described by your doctor. You will have a better recovery. Remember this, if you have small children, please please get someone to watch them for the first week. You will not be able to care for them properly. A recliner is the best tool to have for sleeping, sitting, etc for about 3 weeks. Now lets get to the recovery physically. A tummy tuck drains you the first week. You will probably have a drainage bulb or two on for a week or more. It is aggravating but tolerable. You will also have to way a surgical body magic for a long time but the crotch is cut out for using the bathroom purposes which is a plus. Your soreness will most likely come mostly from the stooped postition that you have to be in for a week or two. Your back will feel like someone is stomping on it until your able to stand up straight again. The most pain will be from liposuctioned areas on your body to complete your look. I experienced absolutely no pain from my actual incision and still don't a month later (Yea). You will have some bruising. I am african american and yes I had bruising. You will have swelling and it gets worse into your second and third week but not much. Depends on you. It looks worse before it gets better. Im a month into my surgery and I have minimal swelling and it comes from lipo. Finally, you will not be able to eat alot because if you make that mistake your stomach will feel as if it will bust. So eat from a small plate and in moderation. What worked for me was small amounts of food 4 to 5 times a day. I ate very lite and drank plenty of water. I bought 3 pairs of granny panties to pull up way over my incision to wear for comfort. After that I went and bout fruit of the loom low rise cottom panties because they fit below the incision perfectly. I wear cute dresses and pants that dont hug my waist such as leggins or something. Other than that you will be fine and love your look as I do. SN. I will be posting pictures soon so stay tuned for a big transformation. I hp this helped anyone who is considering this procedure and good luck.

Dr. C informs you of the pros and cons of your specific procedure. Me and my sisters went to the consult together and he evaluated us all in the same room-per our request-and he gave different results for us all. He made sure he did not take away from our ethnicity because we all had hips and butt that added to our genetic background. So he was careful to keep us curvy. I would recommend him to anyone because of my specific results.
