Post op day 10

Feel pretty good. Still have 2 drains draining. This binder is pretty soiled and gross now. Any suggestions on binders? Also I had sacral lipo which I expected to see results right away. It just feels hard and sore but seems to be softening.

Post Op Day 6

A lot has happened and I promise to cover it all in the shortest way possible. First off my initial visit with Dr. Cochran was very brief. I had lots of questions and was soooo nervous. I don't think I asked every one of the questions I had written to ask. Felt kinda rushed which only made me more nervous. The office staff was very nice and attentive. The surgical staff were just as nice and pleasant. All I can say is with prayer and faith all has been well so far. The only things I could say is I wish they would have went over the post op procedures with me and my caregiver before surgery. Otherwise, your stuck with reading the post op sheet which may leave you with unanswered questions. Today is my post op day 7. I slept in a recliner for a few days. I ate well with good proteins and veggies. I have two drains which are still draining. I was upright by day 4-5. Post op day 6 I had a follow up with Dr. Cochran before flying out. He made me feel great. Said all was as it should be. I was thankful he fit me in. This office really feels like a family. More to come. Still concerned about my sides where the drains are. Otherwise everything seems good. Pain is minimal to moderate. I'm sick of this binder already but I know it's necessary. Booooo. Looking for any suggestions on other binders. Mine is really soiled.

15 Days out

I'm still pretty nervous, but collecting items for postoperative care. I'm also researching most helpful items for scar care. Please respond with any suggestions.

Haven't spoken with Dr. Cochran yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Gail in the office staff has been really nice and helpful.
