I've been a fan to this site for about a year. Finally build up my nerves to have a Tummy Tuck performed in November. I had a consult first with Dr Pagedila in Columbus, Ga. Then I read reviews on Dr Cochran, which is in the same building with Dr Pagedila, and decided to have a consult with him. As soon as he walked in the room, I knew he would be my surgeon. His bedside manner is remarkable! He was very informative and answered all my questions before I asked them. I paid my $250 deposit on this day and scheduled my surgery for 11/11/16. I'm excited and nervous at the same time

Hello, I'm considering a tummy tuck as well, but I'm doing my research. The $5,400 that was quoted to you is that cash or finance. I want to finance mines, but I'm thinking it will cost more if I did. I've noticed several quotes around that figured. Thanks in advance!

HI, the $5400 is cash pricing. Financing is more. It's including the tummy tuck, lipo to upper and lower abd, and back rolls. I still paying on it. It has to be paid in full 2wks prior to your surgery date. I'm considering a Brazilian butt lift also, which is $1200 more. Little nervous about doing both, cause I don't know how I would sleep.

Thanks for responding, I sorta thought that was cash price and that financing was going to be a little more expensive. I talked to a friend of mine yesterday (09/05/16) who has had a TT done and she looks fabulous. She showed me her scar and it looks amazing. She has a thin fine line going across her lower abds. I was happy to see how her scar healed. She said all she used on it was Ambi cream. She had her TT the middle of July I believe it was. That is a lot of surgery all at once, but I guess some people do it. How would you sleep? I want to have my TT and have my flanks lipo around the middle of next year. I'm working on losing some weight first, because just reading all this information people are saying you want to be around your ideal weight before it's done. This is giving me the motivation I need to lose the weight. Good luck and I pray that you have a speedy recovery. Keep in touch and please show before and after pictures. By the way I too am 52, but will be 53 by the time I have my TT.

Hi I just had a TT and BBL on Wednesday. It's a bit tricky to sleep as you cannot sit directly on your bum for two weeks. You have to take turns sleeping on your sides. I got used to it. In the daytime I use my boppy pillow to sit on my bum. It's pretty comfortable.

I had both of mines done on Sept 30, 2016 you can buy a Brazilian butt bed to lay on go to Amazon.com type in bbl bed its has several choice to choose from.

Hi there, I now see your profile. So, you're going in next week. Are you having other work done or just a TT? Between you and me I should have not done the fat transfer as I think it's too much stress on the body all at once. I literally made the last minute decision on the pre-op visit to do that since I have a non-existent booty. LOL. If I had done just the TT I would not have been in so much pain. You will be fine. Just take your pain meds and all will be well. Can't wait to see your pics and smile!

Hi! Thx for commenting. So you had the TT and bbl? Which position are you sleeping in? Did you purchase another compression garment for the butt? I am having the fat transferred to the butt also. I have s high pain tolerance, so I hope that's true with this surgery. I'm so nerves.

Thx for the prayers. It went well. Oh my gosh, so sore, it's almost unbearable. Dr Cochran called this morning, said everything went well. He lipoed the enter thighs a little at no extra charge. He is wonderful!!! My daughter and husband have been doing a great job helping me up and changing bandages. Im uploading one pic.

Hi AC4, so glad it was a success. The first three days are hard but it will get better. It's great that you are recovering at home with your family. Remember to eat even if you don't' feel like it. You're on the flat side now!

You look amazing how was the day of surgery when you woke up how was the pain I work in healthcare also radiology how long are you taking off from work.. How's your Pain level thanks for sharing your journey
November 17, 2016
I arrived at his office at 7:15. I changed into a gown, Jenny took pictures, Dr Cochran came in and "marked me," at this point he decided he would lipo the enter thighs some. I was taking into the surgical suite, he put IV in my neck, which was painless, he and Jenny started talking with me, and I don't remember anything else until I got home. I laid down on the back seat of my SUV for my ride home. Once home, my husband was eating, and the smell of the food made me vomit. Oh goodness, it was awful. For the first day postop, I took my pain meds every 5-6hrs. Since then I've been taking Tylenol. There's really no pain. I'm so sore from the lipo, and from walking bent over. At night it's worse. There's really no comfortable position to sleep in. My daughter and husband has been great! There's no way in hell I could have done this without them. Especially my daughter Brianna. I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my follow up appt.

He actually told me that I could go back in three weeks since my job doesn't entail any pulling or lifting. I decided to do 2wks vacation and 6wks leave of absence. I'm a traveling nurse.

Glad to hear you're doing ok. Please keep us posted.

Hello u look great! Are you completely satisfied with your results so far do you think the surgery was worth it?
November 30, 2016
It was worth every penny and all the soreness. My results are amazing! I can't stop looking at myself. Lol. I'm still swollen, but it's still amazing. It's been almost 3wks, I'm bent over just a little. You will be so pleased with Dr C. Everyone is saying that the postop visits with him is fast. I've seen him 3 times postoperative, and he has given me any time that was needed. And at the end of the visit, tells me that if I need him, don't hesitate to call. I love him.
