Hey folks: 2 days ago makes my 3 Month anniversary so I thought I’d make another update. I’m LOVING my new body. It’s just so much fun to get dressed. My favorite thing to wear are teeny weeny g strings!!! I love how my stomach looks in them. I am anxious though for my lipo procedure in March. Now that a lot of swelling has gone down you can really see where there is more fat on my right side. I’m confident Dr. Song will give me an amazing result though. Happy holidays to everyone. I’ll touch base again as I prepare for the lipo!!!!

After years of tolling RealSelf I had my consultation with Dr. Cochran. He was straight to the point. Said he could do the TT, back Lipo and upper thighs. I paid my deposit and set my date 9/27/17. I was on cloud nine. I had the finances secured and let me family know they needed to get ready cause mama was headed to the flat side. Then yesterday my whole dream crashed. I learned Dr. Cochran had died a few days before. I am crestfallen. The man was a true artist. While his partner is taking over all of Cochran's procedures, no ones work compares o Cochran's. Plus, Cochran had no problem with my weight (I'm 250lbs). As I'm scrambling to find anew doctor I am hitting roadblocks. My weight and financial constraints are on issue. I've been calling doctors all day. Some, once I gave hm my weight and night wouldn't even see me. I've got a consultation with Dr. Gordon, but he is joining Dr. Jimeson's practice and thy don't include lipo with their TT's so I may end up being quoted double what I would have paid with Cochran. So I'm scheduled to consult with Pagdala, Cochran's partner next week. But him he may not consider me a qualified candidate. Just trying to stay hopeful. I'm finally ready and the thought of not being able to do this after being so hopeful is too much to handle.

In clothes

Here are a few pics of me with clothes on. I’ll have to get better at taking pics before I walk out the door. Funny, I have no problems taking Pics naked but have trouble finding time to take them when I have clothes on ????

Started scar treatment

I also started my scar treatment now that my incision is healed. I opted for the silicone strips. The box says it takes about 6 Months to get the full effect. The abdominal strips were wide so I actually cut them thinner. Each one should last about 3-4 weeks.
I keep it on all day. The directions say it should only be worn 23 hours/day but I don’t take mine off at all. Don’t see the point of taking it off do one hour ????.

Thanks for keeping us updated on your progress. Can’t wait for mine in January with Dr. song If you don’t mind me asking. What would you say is the most difficult part of the surgery. And what do you think are the major must have both pre op and post ?
Let see: Preop: stool softeners and a good multivitamin Post op: recliner; elevated toilet seat; and TENS machine (that Thing literally made everything better)
Thanks so much for your response. I’ll be coming into Atlanta and staying a a hotel for 8 days. Just want to make sure am as comfortable and prepared as possible. Am so excited and nervous at the same time
Hey lovely lady ... did you get the strips from Dr. Song’s office? I think we will talk about scar treatment next week at my 2 week P.O. appt next Thursday. I tell you what though ... I’m so ready to pull this drain out. It is sooooo annoying. And girl you looking good!
I got the strips off amazon. I have since stopped using them though. I’m going to use the cream instead. I just didn’t like the strips. plus the area where I had my infection wasn’t fully healed, even though it looked like it. since the strips essentially pull that layer of scarred issue off the strip was interfering with the healing process. I’m going to wait a few more months before restarting scar therapy.
