RIP DR.COCHRAN

I haven't been able to post any updates really after my surgery due to the ups and downs of this recovery. But with the news I learned today I had to. I learned today Dr. Cochran passed over the weekend. This really saddens me to know someone you was just in contact with is gone. Dr. Cochran was a very nice man with a uplifting joyful spirit. My prayers goes out to is family, friends, colleagues, and his patients. We are all truly hurt, saddened, and feel his lost. RIP DR. COCHRAN GOD HAS TRULY GAINED A SWEET KIND HEARTED ANGEL!

Post op Day 2

Hello ladies just coming with an update. All I can say THE PAIN IS REAL!!!! After having two c sections I thought I had a high pain tolerance WRONG this pain is like no other the burning sensation when you get up to walk is real! The recliner didn't work for me it was uncomfortable and made it harder for me to get up to use the bathroom. My fiancé allowed me to take over his man cave since his couch gives me the support I need. I've started slowly walking around the room every hour or two with the help of my mom and fiancé but this burning sensation will really discourage you. It does get easier the more you get up. I have doubled up on my pain medication with Dr. Cochran permission due to pain medication wasn't working at all. Double up I have seen a difference the pain is more tolerable and I'm getting more sleep. Oh and water water water. I'll probably get my first peak at my results tonight with my shower!

MADE IT TO THE FLATSIDE

Well ladies I've made it to the flatside I had my extended tummy tuck with liposuction of the flanks done yesterday June 19th. As soon as I arrived they were prepping me for surgery. She had me undress and clear out my bladder. She later give my post op instructions and then took some pictures. Dr. Cochran came in and did his markings. I was taken to the operation room where she placed all the machines on me and started the IV I was honestly freaking out about the IV going in my neck so she tried to find a vein in my arm sadly I had to get the IV in the neck ( it wasn't that bad but I wouldn't opt for that again). Everything after that was a blur I don't even recall going to sleep I just remember the nurse calling my name saying we done. I slightly remember getting into the car and the drive back to Lithonia.
So once home trying to get to my recliner was a struggle I felt light headed and the pain OMG it's no joke. I was in and out of sleep for the remainder of the day. I'm anxious to see to results
