I had my pre-op appt. with Dr. Song on 8/15. He is extremely nice and responsive to all my questions. I'm confident I made the right decision by choosing him to perform my surgery. I can't believe my operation is only a week away. My emotions are all over the place. One minute I'm excited and the next I could cancel the whole darn thing. I've read my reviews that this emotional roller coaster seems to be normal. I began purchasing items for my post-op survival kit :) I'd greatly appreciate any advice you guys can offer. My mom is coming to stay with me during my recovery period. I'll be in touch soon with an update.

How are you feeling? How's your recovery? Pics? What was your quote?
Hey love. Sorry for the delayed response. My recovery is coming along well. The first 2 days were hell!!! But each day that passes the recovery seems to get easier. I will post pics shortly.

How is your progress doing?
Hi Hun, my recovery has been a journey. They first few days were rough, I can't sugarcoat it. But now that I'm 10 days post op I'm able to ease back into my normal routine. I'm in the process of posting my update.
I am glad to hear that, I myself planing to get one next year, with Dr. Song too. I already had a consultation. I am now just getting informed about how is the recovery process it is amazing how this varies from person to person, one girl had it not long ago from yours but she says it was not that bad that she was just mainly having back pain that anything else, your experiences is different, but she never had kids so I am assuming she did not get the muscle repair, perhaps that's why she is not much in pain, in my case Dr. Song told me I will need the muscle repair stitched together since my abs separated on top of the lose skin removed, don't let my pic fool you I am skinny but my baby boy was big, stretched my skin to the max, I would have preferred the stretch marks to the wrinkly lose skin.
Well but at least your comment that the 2 days were the worse and then you start feeling better, then I think I can put up with 2 days of hell.

Update

I decided to go with Dr. Mike Song with Prima Center Atlanta for my tummy tuck and lipo. My new surgery date is August 31.

Sorry to hear Dr. Cochran passed away

I just received a phone call from Gail notifying me that Dr. Cochran passed away on 7/14/17. She will be calling other patients to reschedule appointments.

Have you decided on a new Dr?
Yes, I've scheduled my surgery with Dr. Song in Atlanta. His work looks extremely good
Are you going to be able to keep your same surgery date?
No, I had to move it back to August 31. Dr. Song has a pretty full schedule
