Yesterday I went ahead with my procedure. I am 5'9" 169 lbs 38 yo. i had my upper and lower abdominal area done. The upper abdominal was VERY painful (felt like a vice grip) at first but lower were easy and pain free. Thankfully the upper was done last or I may not have had any other areas done. The person who performed my procedure had the procedure herself and warned me in advance of the upper. I thought she was over embellishing but she was just honest. Anyway, First day a little bruised and sore not bad though. Hopefully everything will go smooth. The person who did my procedure was GREAT and gave me her personal cell for any emergency or questions. Which I did not expect. I will update as I progress....

So I am about a week into the procedure. I am happy to report that I have not had really any pain. I took two Tylenol on the fourth day before bed just because I felt a little soreness and was worried it might get worse in the night. However, I have not changed my life in the least. I am still going to the gym and working every day. I am also sleeping through the night. I am glad that I have not had the pain others have described.
I have not seen any results yet but again I am only a week into this and they did tell me up from that it would be at least a month to four months before I would see the results of the process. So I am still hopeful and will update as more happens.

I am just over a month now. Unfortunately, I do not see any difference yet. I have not had any pain like other, however, I also don't see a difference. So we will see what happens with my second month under way. I did weigh myself again today and I am still 169 lbs so there has not been any weight loss as a result. I still have some minor numbness in my stomach area. Hopefully results are soon?!? I hope this wasn't a waste of $1800.

Dare2Dream, there isn't weight loss with this procedure unless you are actively dieting; Coolsculpting doesn't result in weight loss. (I have wondered how that can be, given that the fat must weigh something!). I had upper and lower abs done - small device, 2 each for upper and lower - on Feb 1 and didn't see results for over 4 weeks. Then I noticed that my favorite jeans were getting big. At 6 weeks, friends started noticing a difference. Hang in; it takes a while. I'm now at 2 months and my belly is definitely smaller. Good luck!

I have been working out as well and thought that I would see weight loss like you said... fat must weigh something. However, that is not the case. But I am happy to say after going on 7 weeks I am starting to see some results. I actually didn't even really notice until I put the jeans back on that I had on in this picture. I hope this is a start to good results! Good luck to you as well, keep me updated on your results.
