Have you went to Dr. C office to see him?
March 23, 2016
Ok good... keep us updated. Im sure he will get this corrected... praying for you!!!

Look, either way you should see your Dr asap. And if I were you I would get another Dr's opinion after I followed up with my own Dr.. I don't think we realize what an important / gentle and huge organ the skin is until a medical issue with the skin.

How are you doing? What did dr. Say?
March 24, 2016
Hi, He gave me antibiotics just to make me feel more comfortable because i was slight depress about it being a infection but he said he didn't see any sign of it.. that it was opening up to drain more and that it was going to be a slow healing process

Wow!!! What are you using on it?

He sounds like he is trying to avoid a malpractice suit. I would go back to the hospital and get a lawyer. He's not doing his job

If you still have a foul smell that is infection. I love Dr C but you have to go with your instincts. If your gut tells you something more is wrong trust it. It your body and nothing is wrong with getting a second or third opinion.

Yes he is a good Dr. but i think ima go with my heart... something isn't right... he tells me the same exact thing Every week.. no infection just keep it clean with soap and water.. and don't let it stop me from doing what i want to do... in that order EVERY WEEK.. im going to the hospital tomorrow and this time ima be seen and get different opinions.. so far 3 people told me it was necrotic wounds & it was infected... im just trying to avoid getting Dr. Cochran upset with me..

At this point it's about you feeling as if your concerns are being heard. Dr C will be alright. Do what you have too. Sending you well wishes.

Brittney let me say this to you and hear me clearly.....you only have one life....guard it, you can't worry about who will be mad with you about you looking after you. I was his patient I had issues and yes he comes across as having your best interest but at the same time down play things that are clearly a problem that were confirmed at the ER. Please get a second opinion before you loose your breast.

I'm a nurse. It looks like you have an infection. The symptoms you're describing, is infection. Seek some more medical attention. You might need some antibiotics.

Hi, I am a doctor and though not a plastic surgeon..your doctor definitely needs to take this more seriously than he is. It appears infected and necrotic (blood supply is compromised so part of the skin is dying ). You definitely need to be sorted ASAP because this has the potential to make you very unwell and end in disaster . Let us know how you get on. Best of luck

I've been following your story, have you seen another doctor? Did you get antibiotics or any other form of treatment. Sorry you are going through this. Praying for a speedy recovery.

Thank you for coming on to give her some valuable advice, you are right about the way her issues are being played down to not serious because it was done with me I know first hand I had what could've grown to be Life threatening but told it's no big deal.
If you have signs of infection, go immediately.
(Worst case scenario---There is a risk that infection will develop and if the necrosis is deep the infection can reach the implant; but this is not likely. )
However, a proper high protein diet, rest, and avoiding nicotine help sped the healing.
