34, 1 Child - Extended Tummy Tuck W/ Lipo to Back, Stomach and Inner Thigh - Columbus, GA

So I've been carrying around this huge stomach...

So I've been carrying around this huge stomach since I had my son....it's literally like my second child...before I had my son I had a baby gut but now after having my son I look 60 months pregnant ....

Initially had a consult with Dr. Works in Atlanta we didn't really vibe well but he did some work on a friend that looked great....he said lose 40 pounds , and come back after I paid $100 consult fee and the cost for the tummy tuck with him was $8000 boy bye...then I hear of Dr. Cochran and the work he does on larger patients seen about 100 reviews of his and I was sold....made an appt to have a consultation which was today... So I arrived to the office about 30 mins late coming from Atlanta which is about 2 hours away...however everyone in the office was very pleasant and I only waited about 5 mins after paperwork to meet Dr. Cochran...he was very pleasant and detailed which I loved and ended our consultation with a hug....

Next I met with Gail and she was alright as well the only bad thing was he was booked until 4/20 I really need my surgery in Sooner due to me moving out of state ..but I still booked the surgery leaving a $2500 deposit and locked in my date (they only require $250 to hold)... Very pleased with my choice very excited about the surgery ready to be on the flat side...hopefully there is a cancellation and I can get in sooner... Gail added me to a list of people to call if there is a cancellation however there were about 7 other people on that list.

55 Days To Go...!!!

So I'm so excited and feel extremely blessed that I am able to do this.... I can not wait... I know Dr. Cochran will do a great job....I wanted to have my surgery sooner because I'm moving to Houston & I wanna say thank you to the 2 dolls that offered to switch appointments with me (I needed a 4 hour appt) so theirs didn't work but I'm grateful for RS because without this site I wouldn't be able to connect with such great people....

So today is the day I take a huge step and post before pictures...So on 4/20 I will be having a extended TT w/ muscle repair & Lipo to the stomach, full back and just a little Lipo to these 2 saddle bag things I have on the front of my thighs ...!!!

24 Days To Go

Receivers my pre-op packet in the mail today....super excited ready to be on the flat side officially... So happy I found RS & Dr. Cochran...everyone has been so supportive. 2 months ago I started taking Iron, Vitamin C, B12, B Complex & Fiber because I have always been anemic with a Hemoglobian level below 8...I was so anxious I had my Gyno do a CBC to see if I reached the required 12 & it came back 12.1 .... I will continue the regimen and also begin Hemaplex this week to get that extra boost...I did not order a bunch of supplies but will lost below with prices....I got everything from Amazon.

Shower Seat $11
2 Wedge Pillows $25 each
Elevated Toilet Seat $16
Tray (to eat and hold laptop) $12
Tylenol $5
Phillips Stool Softner $4

Outside of that I will purchase gloves, scar treatment & arnica ....and that's it which will prolly bring my total to about $100 or so...

I will have my regular doctor do another CBC or call and see if they will take my current one which will be about 2 weeks earlier than needed...

Balance is $3125 will pay $2900 tomorrow & the balance by the 6th....I'm so excited and thankful to God for allowing me to be able to do this...

12 Days To Go...!!!

Spoke to Gail at Dr. Cochrans today she said they received my lab work that I had done on 3/17 and its was good ....so all that b12, iron, vitamin c, b-complex and fiber worked....I'm really anxious because any stomach smaller than the one I have would be worth it for me because this big ole thang is outta control... Thinking about detoxing & doing a colonic during my last 10 days....clean body = clean mind...

So far the people @ Cochrans office have been very pleasant ....no issues at all ...always get a callback within a hour...

Ready to be in the flat side...!!!

2 Days To Go...!!!

Wow time sure has moved fast....I have my surgery this Wednesday 7:30AM....so glad I got the early slot because Atlanta traffics is horrible and I will be driving back after the surgery....it's almost a 2 hour car ride... I'm jus feel super blessed that I was able to do this ....I have a 2 year old so not being able to pick him up will suck ....I go back and forth from anxious and nervous but ready to get this over with...I have no family in Georgia so my mom will fly in Tuesday morning and stay for a month ....she's the real MVP....I think I was thinking about the surgery so much that I got constipated had to take some Miralax to get things moving again ....feeling much better now...I'm glad I chose Cochran because he is amazing with TT's ....I'm interested in knowing how much he will take off....I'm pretty sure my stomach weighs like 20 pounds alone lbvs ....well I will talk to you guys once I'm on the flat side and thanks for all the support ....this community rocks......!!!

2nd Day Post Op

Hey family I made it to the flat side....I've been really weak & easily out of breath when walking so I've been taking it easy only getting out bed to go to the bathroom....Very sore but the pain meds are great....the surgery was 4 hours and Dr. Cochran told my mom they took out 31 pounds total...my stomach looks flat from what I can see. I have not taken off my binder or attempted to shower cuz I'm too weak and sore but will try tomorrow ....I only have one pic so I'll post it and post more when I can....

5 Days Post Op

Hey Dolls....this recovery has been no joke you will definitely need a great support system....I am finally feeling better but very cautious when it comes to moving around so I don't have setbacks with my scar healing....I took a sponge bath today and everything looks great....lots of bruises, soreness & swelling at the top of my stomach where muscle repair & lipo was done.... Incision stopped burning yesterday with movement which was super painful but I have a lingering headache everyday which I read may be a rebound headache from the Drugs so I've decided not to take anymore of those. I also have the numbness and tingling in my left thumb which I also read was common and takes a week or two to go away....appearantly it's due to how your arm is positioned on the operating table and also a result of the blood pressure cup being on that arm and taking your blood pressure non stop during the surgery....I would say prepare to stay put for at least the first 3 days after with the exception of going to the potty because the recovery is extremely painful the first 3 days... there are still some challenges with being out of breath easily but it gets better everyday and this could be because I had so much fat removed....i have one or two pics for your guys will post better ones once my strength allows me to but I jus had my mom snap some quickies just so you all can see some of the progress....thanks for all the well wishes this community rocks & I'll post another update with better pics in a few days...

8 Days Post Op

Y'all this recovery again is no joke....everyday gets better... No pain at this point just soreness & tightness... Can not wait to walk straight because walking hunched over hurts my back really bad... Went to my 1 week post op apt yesterday on the wrong day lol (blame the drugs) Cochran saw me anyway tho...messed around with my drains and put me back on antibiotics because I spiked a fever and had the chills... The chills and fever are already gone after 3 doses but I will take all the medicine to be safe....everything else is good... Can't wait until this time next week to see how far along my progress will be....looking forward to better days with recovery keeps me motivated & my 2 year old son....cuz this is NO JOKE...

Before & After Pics

Day before surgery & today 8 days post...!!!

15 Days Post Op

Hey yallllllllll.... Well I'm 15 days post ...still wearing both drains ugh....draining at about 75 in one drain within 24 hours and 50 in the other....I had 31 pounds removed during my tt so I'm not surprised but hopefully I can get these things out next week..my incision is super low, tummy still swollen at the top but going down slowly....still wearing my binder until the drains come out. I try to still take it easy cuz at this stage the more you move around the more sore you will be in the evening so I try not to overdue it....stomach & back still sore from lipo so I take Tylenol like twice a day....other than that it's all good....my mom has been here since the day before the surgery & leaves Sunday so I'm super nervous because I have a 2 year old but I'm sure we will be fine...I attached pics & will have my mom take better ones with no clothes before she leaves ....take care guys...

20 Days Post Op

Drains finally came out today & I couldn't be happier ...one is still leaking a bit but being soaked up with a pad....my hips felt stiff with the drains...and I felt with the drains the stiffness in my hip was not getting better....but now without the drains that is much better laying in my side more confortably as well...my mon left today as well after spending a month with me :( Oh also started wearing compression garment I purchased a Lenoisa from Amazon fit $70, it's super tight but comfortable at the same time ....I'm glad I chose this one gonna order another....

23 Days Post Op

Woke up today and that annoying stiffness in my right hip area towards the front was gone omgggggg I feel so much better I thought it would never go away .....my 1 week follow up after drain removal is Monday so I will post another update & pics then....happy healing to you all...

30 Days Post Op

Went to see Dr Cochran this past Monday and he removed the stitches from my belly button which was a relief but hurted... Oh also they told me they have the wrong amount of weight removed to my mom the day of surgery it is actually 26 pounds total not 31... 16 pounds from the TT & 8 pounds from lipo...I'm still very satisfied with my results even in my current state with all the swelling it is still night & day x 1000.... I did not think Dr. Cochran would be able to get my stomach as flat as it is... I have no love handles and no jiggle in the stomach area it is tight.... My incision is healing ok today I actually had a small area spilt open (I have a 2 year old so I move around a lot) trying to take it easy however as much as possible. I am still numb in my lower back both sides, below my incision and above it...the numbness is starting to taper off slowly on my back and leaves me very sore as it does...still very sore to the touch on my stomach and I have swelling in my tummy... I was not able to wear my compression garment as everyday because it was preventing one of my drain holes from healing due to the pressure so I jus started wearing it this morning....until today I was wearing a regular girdle and I had my binder wrapped around it. If I sit too long I get stiff and based on how things are going I prolly won't be able to workout for another month or two and because of that I have an apt with my doctor tomorrow so that I can get prescription appetite suppressants for the next 2 months jus to maintain & protect my investment lol...!!! Oh and my back I have two small rolls but night & day compared to what I was before and Dr. Cochran told me before I had the surgery due to the amount of fat I had on my stomach & back that neither would be 100 percent flat but noticeably different t which they are...I'm very confident and looking forward to refining these results in the gym but I'm very very very satisfied... Pics are attached....I tried to include as many details as possible but jus let me know if you all have any other questions.... Previously was a size 18/20 Pants & 2XL Top Currently 12/14 Pants & M/L top depending on the material

Spent Lastnite in the ER at 30 Days Post

So both my legs began to ache a couple days ago but got really bad last nite plus i had the chills. ER doc had me get a CT scan, ultrasound of both legs, bloodwork and EKG....all test were clear I had no infection & no blood clots...they perscribed me pain meds and wants me to follow up with more blood work Monday by my primary due to white blood count being slightly elevated which is usually a sign of infection ...ER docs were very complimentary of Dr C's incision which they checked as well for signs of infection.... I actually saw my Primary today for another concern she said the ER ruled out everything that could kill me lol but we will repeat blood work next week....could be low iron as I am anemic usually but we will repeat bloodwork jus to be on the safe side Monday if I'm not feeling better....I have no fever so they also suggested that it could jus be my body adjusting to everything that has taken place .... If anyone has experienced this let me know...!!!

Back Pic

Back still has a small roll on each side but I'm still pleased....I asked that he leave a nice amount of fat because I am considering having a bbl early next year....I really like how he got rid of that huge chunk of fat that say right above my butt it really helped make my butt more noticeable...
