I am 28 and I have been getting Disport for the past 3 years. When I turned 25, I started noticing "laugh lines" around my eyes and what I like to call "skeptical lines" on my forehead. I love to smile and laugh and for whatever reason, I am constantly raising my eyebrows. I tried botox once just in between my brows. I wasn't too impressed, plus this isn't a problem area for me because I never scowl.
A friend told me about Dysport so I decided to give it a try. Some people (including myself) find that dysport lasts longer than botox and starts to work l faster. I told Dr. Bapna about all the areas that bothered me. He injected a total of 132 units around my eyes, forehead, and in between my brows. The needle is very small and Dr. Bapna is very talented so the pain is minimal. The most painful areas are right below my eyes. I sometimes get very small bruises that go away in about a week.
I was completely stunned by the results. I figured that the dysport would paralyze my face and that would help stop some of the damage, but I never imagined that it would cause my fine lines to totally disappear! That is the advantage of starting young. My face is still making collagen so I am able to actually reverse some of the damage.
The effects last about 4-6 months. It wears if gradually so sometimes it's hard to tell exactly how long it lasts. I highly recommend dysport and Dr. Bapna.

Wow, this is a great review! Really appreciate the progression of pictures. I'm 28 as well and am considering starting dysport now. Just trying to get myself comfortable with the idea of repeatedly taking a needle to the face! :)

Awesome results! How many units did the doctor use in total?
