Now we play the pre-authorization waiting game...
I had my consultation last Wednesday with Dr. Abouhassan. He was very personable and straight-forward. He said I'm definitely a candidate after examining me.
WELL, what he said as he lifted my breast was, "I can see why you'd like to get rid of these." LOL
My breasts are very dense and he said once he is through, they will be half the size!!!
I honestly just can't believe that it is finally happening. It was only a few years ago when I waited on a customer who had just gotten her breasts reduced. She was elated. She was the happiest I had ever seen anyone buying new, smaller, cute bras and shirts. I want that. I'll have that!
My information was submitted to my insurance(I have United Healthcare - Medicaid), so now we wait! Cross your fingers and toes for me!

RealSelf creeper rant...
Does anyone else get emails from someone pretending to be another female wanting you to send them pictures of your breasts via email?
So incredibly gross. It's almost enough to make me quit this site.
There is no such thing as a safe place online to research and reach out to others considering a medically necessary procedure. It's unfortunate.

Can you post real pictures. You are a similar size and definitely want to see myself down to a big B Cup. We have been researching this for too long. Ugh. Thank god for insurance
I find Real Self a nice troll free environment. You can certainly report that person to your community manager as you have every right to feel safe and not harassed. As a lady with big natural boobs since age 11 and a small frame I totally can relate to you and the constant stares and harassment we go through and are tired of. Congratulations on your current progress towards a lighter chest.
Lol. For sure. Never reply to private! There's more good than bad!

My boobies...like having two watermelons attached to my chest. Nervous feelings about my consultation.
My consultation is only a few weeks away(May 11th). I am watching every video, reading every article and still feel utterly clueless as to how it will pan out.
I didn't get any feedback on my last post, but what can I do to prepare and what questions should I be asking?
And here's the boobs. Ugh.

you should find everything you are looking for there. I haven't had my BR yet and didn't ask many questions so I can't be too helpful. Stress to the doctor what you want. Don't be shy about it.

Hi I had a BR 4 weeks ago and it's the best thing I have had done - wish I had done it years ago - I was a 32 GG and now I'm a 32 D - I went back to work after 10 days - yes there is some pain but it's not that bad if I'm honest - just talk to your surgeon about the size and the shape you want to be / good luck
Thanks so much!
I was a little concerned about not being able to get back to work. Good to know I won't be away too long.
Gobi, I hope yours go swimmingly and Chippl, I'm so happy for you, thank you!!
Will you be posting before and after pictures? They are so helpful! Certainly make it more real. Being able to see scarring, stretch have marks and nipple help a lot. I didn't catch how small you wanted the new girls to be?
