The New Me @ 46 and Loving It!!!

Thank you! How exciting for you. I remember having those same feelings. The recovery the first 24 hours was the hardest! I had a lot of water/blood coming out of my incision area in the front. They tell you this will happen, but you have no idea until you see it. Make sure you have plastic down because you leak a lot of fluids. Honestly, staying in front of my pain was key and I really did not feel a lot of pain, just discomfort. My knees and elbows have had a workout the last 5 weeks. I’m trying not to sit even though she gives you the okay after 3 weeks. I only sit to drive and I use a Boppy. I am still sleeping on my stomach as well. I was very swollen and truly had a Kim Kardashian’s shape the first week and a half. Now, my swelling has gone down and my shape looks more like me. I go up and down each day, honestly. Some days I feel my booty looks awesome and other days not so much. I’ve talked to the staff and they say to give it three months. I started my fifth week today and I feel good today about my bottom. It is getting more of a shape and softening up. You have to keep an open mind and be patient. I did not have a lot of fat and I really did not want a big butt...just a better shape. I feel Dr. Grawe gave me that, for sure! I wish you the very best! Please let me know if you have any other questions? Also, love to hear about your results too!!!

Awesome! Good to know. It’s so hard to find people who will give me the time to talk about their experience with Roxy. Although I’m absolutely certain she is the doctor for me I wish I could find more patients willing to tak about their entire experience! I wanted to ask Would you happen to have any before pictures? I just wanted to have something to compare if you didn’t mind? I absolutely love her work especially on instagram. I just feel doubtful some days as I don’t see many patients post pictures on this platform, and the ones that have were bad reviewers which is expected because I’ve searched through tons of doctors and even they have had some bad reviews. I’m just happy to talk to someone who has gotten work with her done recently. We’re you an out of town patient by any chance ? I’m coming from New York, and I’m alittle worried about the plane ride back. However I will be staying in Ohio for about 10 full days after my surgery. Anyway, thanks for replying! You seriously made my day. I’m always back and forth between ahhhh I’m so excited and I can’t wait !!! To “I think I’m going to cancel”. Haha guess that’s normal!

I don’t really have any befores, other than completely naked. She gives you a complete DVD of before and after at your 6 month visit. I can’t wait to see that myself. I am about an hour and 45 mins away from her. If you are staying 10 days you should be okay for the plane ride back...just sit on your boppy or towels. I’m most sore from the Lipo not the bbl. if that helps!!! What CC’s do you think you’ll have? As mentioned, I was borderline just being able to do it so, my butt is not that big. Do you already have a butt? Just smaller? Mine was completely flat...I stand kind of inward, which does not help! So, even with just 775cc’s I can see a difference most days. But, a lot of people don’t really notice...only the ones who really noticed I did not have a butt...if that makes sense.

Totally understand! That’s so funny my place ride is literally the same amount of time. How was traveling right after? I actually have no clue on how many cc’s I should be considering and what ratio I would put into my booty and hips. I actually have a booty but most of my fat is towards the bottom where as the top starts out more flat. I was initially more interested in the lipo as I reallyyy want a flat tummy and super snatched waist, but I figured might as well put that fat somewhere valuable, ha..

Then you’ll be very happy! I love my waist, hips and she even improved my stomach from my original tummy tuck...taking the fat from flanks and back. The ride was fine. But, I woke up after surgery really sore. Make sure you bring stuff to put down in the car...plastic. Blood and fluid comes out every time you move. I laid on my stomach in the back of the SUV with seats down. I did not sit.

hello I’m wondering where did you sty while oh were in Ohio. I’m wondering about his mysterious recovery house. I am unable see any photos or get any info on it.

I’m actually in a hotel which is their recovery house for the moment. They are still fixing the house at the moment

Not really.. I honestly had no idea I would be staying in a hotel.

I stayed off my bottom for 3 months. I went back to school the week after, but stood the entire time.
