My skin is glowing ??

I'm still working on getting a rhythm with all of the products the dermatologist has given me, but one thing is for sure- they are all working!! My face is glowing! I don't even pull out my foundation anymore. I am still considering a chemical peel to help with the unevenness of my skin tone, however I am quite pleased with my results so far.

Acne, Eczema and Scars --Oh my!

Excuse the cheesy title. I just wanted to update everyone of my progress at 1 week. So far, I am pleased with my purchases, however I have not been on the oral medication for 4 days now. It caused a yeast infection and I wasn't thrilled at all, but thats not why I stopped. My Doc says the meds are only for 14 weeks so once my insurance approves the prior authorization, I'll be back on it (or something similar, I guess). The cream for my exzema is A M A Z I N G!! 5 Stars for that. The eczema was gone in 2 days! It was like it was never there (on my arms mostly) at all! I'll even admit that I put it on my face one night, as I noticed the acne cream wasn't working as aggressively. I drank 3 sodas in the past week, so I'm going to eliminate that to see if that helps expedite the improvement (which I'm sure it will). Thanks for reading.

I have a single trait of lupas skin rash which prompted me to see a dermatologist for the first time in my life when I discovered what I believed to be a breakout on both my right and left upper arm. I went in the office under the impression they would do a biopsy as my rheumatologist suggested. The DT took one look at my arms and immediately said it was Eczema. This was a surprise and a relief. She examined both sides of my face, chest and back..told me I suffered from severe acne and that she would address that first before continuing my treatment plan. I did feel the over all examination was a bit rushed, however, as a healthcare professional I do realize "we patients" tend to dump everything on physicians at once. She prescribed Halog cream (Eczema), Doryx, Aczone cream (day), Differin cream (night), SkinMedica facial cleanser/toner and her own Rx_ Bleaching cream for acne scars. I purchased everything as prescribed and today makes Day 3 for me. I am particularly skeptical of how these products will work on my skin, especially considering the bleaching cream is her own 'recipe', without any formal reviews or before and after pictures on her website. I will say that the Halog cream has worked exceptionally well within the short 72 hours we've been acquainted. The rash on both arms is 97% gone so I have my fingers crossed that the other creams will be equally effective. The Doryx (oral) is 14 weeks so I will write a follow up then with photos specifically for this topic. ( I have tons of other ish you guys will see if you find me interesting enough to follow :').. )

The examination felt rushed, but in fairness I do feel that she addressed each of my concerns.
