Happy Patient here. My saline implants deflated years ago. I have developed a few autoimmune issues so I figured the deflated shells should come out, to be on the safe side. Dr. Sarah Mess had great pics of her own patients on her site. I could tell that she was meticulous and that she wanted to know how I wanted to look. Breast fat transfer is best to fill out the upper pole area.
Surgery was very early in the morning. I had lots of lipo of my belly and flanks and then this was injected into my breasts. It was a long surgery and I had general anesthesia. I woke up pretty out of it. I am a barfer on pain meds so I tapered those meds to Tylenol ASAP. I did not have drains so there was a bit of a mess in the hospital room. The nurses cleaned it up and it is normal. I healed beautifully and I am no spring chicken. I was encouraged to walk and I did. My body was swollen with fluid but my torso was way smaller and breasts were huge for a week or so. A comfortable compression suit that she ordered was worn after the post surgical dressings came off. Later as I lost fluid, I replaced this with a more snug suit. A soft bra that did not compress the boobs was worn until I moved on to a soft loose sports bra. You lose swelling and some fat the first 2-3 months. at the 4 month mark, I am 1.5-2 cup sizes up for good. I am a great size for me with lovely contour. I am down 2 bathing suit sizes. Dr. Mess is an artist who really cares and you will know that you are in good hands.
