I HIGHLY Recommend Dr. Le

Words cannot describe how remarkable Dr. Le is at what he does. I am absolutely impressed by the outcome of my primary rhinoplasty and very pleased with the overall experience of having him as my plastic surgeon. I had been seriously contemplating plastic surgery for about ten years and seriously researched doctors for about 5-7 years. It was a very long, stressful, and overwhelming process looking for the right doctor and trying to figure out what was best for me. To make the process even more complicated, I wanted to find a surgeon that had experience specifically with Asian rhinoplasty as I am of Asian descent. I had been to many consultations within my area and out of state (I live in Virginia), as well as online consultations with doctors across the country, including a few in LA/Beverly Hills, CA. I finally came across Dr. Le’s website this past May and decided to schedule an initial consultation with him.

My consultation with Dr. Le was about three hours long – very long in comparison to previous consultations I had with other doctors, which usually lasted around 15-30 minutes. However, I appreciated this because I quickly realized that if he put this much time and care into my consultation, imagine how much care he would put into my actual surgery. I will admit it was a little intense, as Dr. Le strives to understand exactly what you want (be ready for lots of questions). He is very big on communication in order to pinpoint your exact goals and avoid any confusion. The process was great, because it even brought up questions and concerns I hadn’t thought of… coming from a person that had been thinking about this for years! He then came up with solutions that addressed my concerns and created computer simulations of what could be achieved. He also showed me pictures of previous patients whose cases were similar to mine, as well as providing me with a quick overview of how the procedure is done. He made sure to explain the risks involved and what to expect with recovery. It was a VERY thorough initial consultation worth every minute. He was the first doctor I left my consultation feeling 100% confident in having as my doctor. Also, his office staff was very friendly and professional.

I followed through and scheduled a surgery date to have the operation (surgery was performed this past July). The pre-operative appointment was just as thorough as my initial consultation. Not once did I ever feel rushed or feel like I was just “another patient.” On surgery day, the minute Dr. Le arrived you could tell he was very focused; I knew I was in good hands. The surgery went smoothly without any complications. It did take a little longer than expected; however, Dr. Le will keep operating until everything is perfect. I had no pain during recovery and Dr. Le gave me a call the next afternoon to see how I was doing. I will admit, emotionally I was feeling a little overwhelmed with finally having the surgery done after all these years and was very anxious about seeing the final results. I’m not sure if Dr. Le picked up on this; however, he did an amazing job at putting my mind to ease with his call.

At my first post-op appointment (a week after surgery), Dr. Le removed the splint and I was able to see my new nose. I was very anxious, so I really appreciated his sense of humor and stories that he told to calm my nerves while he cleaned up my nose before making the reveal. Finally, I got to see my new nose, and when I did…I burst into tears! My new nose looked absolutely amazing! Going into it I knew that he had a reputation of being very precise with his results, but there was still a part of me that realized results could vary from that of the computer simulations. However, the results were better than I ever could have imagined and surpassed the picture simulations that I was already very pleased with. Also, when I saw Dr. Le’s reaction to my reaction, I could tell he was truly happy for me as a person, not only as his patient. To this day, I still don’t know how he did it. My case was very “customized” as I had existing asymmetry and there was a lot that needed to be done to give me my ideal nose. The results were better than expected and to this day, not one person has ever suspected I had a nose job. The results are extremely natural-looking; sometimes I even forget I had a nose job because it simply looks like the nose that should have always been on my face.

I know this review is very long but I wanted to share my full experience and include the information that I found helpful during my research – a process that I know can be extremely overwhelming. Dr. Le is absolutely amazing in all aspects: a master of his craft, very detailed-oriented, will never rush you during appointments or in surgery, very thorough in communication, very personable, compassionate, and will give you exceptional care from day one. He is very passionate about his work. I can tell he approaches every patient as a new learning experience and appreciates the story they bring with them. This in combination with his work ethics and expertise set him apart from every other plastic surgeon I had met. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Le.
